Excellent, spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated, The beds and sofa were comfortable. The owners were friendly and helpful, while we were there the weather turned cold and the owners provided at no extra charge a good supply of firewood. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

A perfect holiday home

This compact accommodation , very suitable for two persons, is a lovely place to stay and has its own courtyard space. It is well finished and equipped and has characterful features

Marie and Bruno made us so welcome from the minute we arrived. Their house, the apartment , the pool and grounds are all beautiful. It was like visiting old friends but with our own accommodation. The kitchen had everything you could want - maybe an extra 2 tea cups for les anglais! - and the whole decor was just to our taste. Bruno recommended restaurants in Saintes, a town which is really worth exploring. The loveliest beach was La Grande Côte, park at the far end of Palais sur mer in the free car park. There is a restaurant overlooking the beach which had a good menu du jour with stunning views. Please note, the beds are 140cm, not queen size, just for information.

We had a brilliant 2 weeks here. The gite is superb. Very well equipped and maintained, all you need. The gardens and pool are amazing. We spent a lot of time by the pool and playing table tennis. The children loved it!! We had some great visits to the beach at royan and Day trips to Saintes and St George. We can not recommend here highly enough. It is by far the best gite we have stayed in. Pierre and family were really welcoming and hospitable. We would love to go back!

the property was in a very good location. Nathalie was very welcoming and helpful. We were very comfortable at the property with plenty of pleasant cycle rides around the area. the garden was a pleasure to sit in.

We came for a week in July. The gite was as described. We were welcome to use the washing machine - which was useful. The pool is small - ideal for a quick dip to cool down, or for small kids. There are lots of mosquitoes - we got a lot of bites. With hindsight, would have taken anti-mossie stuff. 🤷‍♀️

We had a fantastic holiday in Lusnac. The property was well maintained, and in an ideal location with easy access to Saintes, the coast, La Rochelle and Royen. Claude and Bruno were excellent hosts, who were so helpful and friendly.
