Beautifully located overlooking a small beach and the ocean. We enjoyed the sunny terrace when weather permitted where we would watch the colourful fishing boats come back each afternoon.The house was exceptionally clean and modern, with large open plan living on the ground floor with patio doors to make the most of the sea views. There is a double bedroom on the ground floor, together with a full bathroom with bath and shower above, and separate shower room. There are steps up to a mezzanine level with two beds. From the main stairs there is access to a double bedroom with access to a roof terrace and a further toilet.There is street parking outside, and there is off-road parking for a medium sized car (narrow access). The quiet location is fantastic, you can easily walk a few minutes into town with its bars and restaurants, go and watch the fishing boats or enjoy longer walks. We loved using the house as a base to explore both Guilvinec and the surrounding area.Corinne was a great host and very quick to respond to any queries we had before and during our stay.

Friendly and informative welcome from the owners. Thoughtful of them to put up a Christmas tree for our arrival!Extremely clean, modern and very well equipped. Great location and very private garden and good parking. Excellent value for the price, would highly recommend.

What a wonderful property with everything and more that you need. Very clean and lovely back garden. The hosts were amazing , especially Frederique who couldn’t have done enough for us. Would highly recommend and hopefully we will go back one day.

This is our second time visiting this property.Located right across from the beach which offers both sand and rock pools for exploration.The owners have set up and equipped the property with everything you might need and the accommodation is most comfortable.The property manager is easy to communicate with and is very helpful.Located on the coastal path we had some great walks to local cafes for lunch.A very enjoyable break we would recommend this property highly.

Everything about this stay was great. We were very fortunate with some amazing weather so the house was bathed in beautiful light, and great views all the way to the sea. It’s perfectly situated for the beaches and the available bikes meant that we cycled a lot to get around (so safe) and discovered a new part of the coastline each day. The house is well supplied with everything you’d need, big enough for everyone to have some space and lots of fun things for the family to do together, like the darts board, table football and all the outdoor things. The garden was brimming with plum trees and the owner kindly allowed me to pick whatever I wanted which meant a daily supply of fresh plums. We would highly recommend this house and have come home with some very special memories.

Communication with owners was excellent from onset of booking. We were met at the house and given comprehensive local information. The house and garden were superb, the best equipped accommodation ever. Use of cycles was a bonus. We could not have been more satisfied and would not hesitate to stay here again. Thoroughly recommend.

The comfort,style and location of our accommodation in Plovan made for a wonderfully enjoyable holiday. The house has been thoughtfully restored and furnished with all mod cons. There is a laundry/garden room on the ground floor. The bedroom is on the first floor with a spacious ensuite and efficient shower. There is also study/office with table and chair, sofa and a good supply of reading matter. The second floor comprises the kitchen, dining area and also a cosy corner with arm chairs for relaxing and enjoying the view over the garden and towards the sea. It is such a light space with large velox windows that even on rainy days you would be happy to stay indoors. It is not just the standard of equipment that makes this house so desirable but the obvious thought that has gone into the planning and the tasteful decor which makes it a real home from home. Parking is secure, private and off road in front of the well tended garden equipped with garden table/bench. The village has a bistro/bar and an epicerie and has a homely feel, being in the country and a rwo minute drive to the beach. We usually drove to Penhors beach nearby so that we could drop into the Penn ar Bedd, a popular, informal beach bar and restaurant. The beach stretches for miles and slopes gradually to provide safe swimming. If the beach isn’t your cup of tea Plovan serves as an excellent centre for visiting nearby sights such as La Pointe du Raz in the north snd all the lovely little fishing ports between there and Loc Tudy and Benodet is also nearby as is the Cotswold like village of Locranon. We had a fabulous week thanks to Loic’s lovely house and his friendly welcome.

What can we say, this was one of the most relaxing holidays that we have had in a long time. We were lucky to have two of the hottest weeks in June, so were able to enjoy the outside space to its full potential. The owner Mikael was very friendly and attentive. The house was perfect; it was very clean and had everything we needed for a two-week holiday by the sea. It was amazing to go to sleep and wake up looking at the sea from the main bedroom. We would have no hesitation in recommending this house for a relaxing holiday. We are returning in 2019!
