Find lake rentals near Johannelundsbadet

We had a wonderful week staying at this fantastic property. We chose it because we wanted plenty of space for four adults and three teenagers and it was easily big enough for the seven of us, offering very comfortable bedrooms and a good choice of places to sit, relax & socialise. The outside decked area was particularly wonderful in the evenings, with plenty of seating and a lovely hot tub to relax in. The kitchen was really well equipped and the laundry facilities like a home from home. The house was ideally located at the end of a quiet road, but within easy walking distance of the lake and the locks on the Göta Canal, as well as facilities like a grocery store. We all enjoyed the lovely woodland walk down to the lake and were fascinated to watch a variety of boats coming down the series of locks on the canal, within a few minutes’ walking distance of the house. We had a lovely meal at the Kanalkrogen restaurant at the top of the locks and enjoyed ice creams and mini golf outside the youth hostel, where my aunt was delighted to find how easy it was hire a bike for a day’s exploring. On the last evening we booked an evening cruise around Lake Roxen with buffet and music on board, which was great fun. I would thoroughly recommend this house as a great place to stay with family and friends and experience a lovely part of Sweden.

Overall excellent value for money. Decent location, everything in great condition.

Comfortable, spacious, clean apartment with handy car parking though situated a little bit of the beaten track, about 30 mins walk from centre.Good value in any case for a short stay.
