Gorgeous property, lovely location.Views from balcony where just fabulous. Property is well maintained and has everything you could want for. Only negative was you couldnt use the pool.Would definitely stay again.

The building is actually 3 apartments, 2 for guests, and the 3rd is where the hosts live, Paula & Winfried, who are a lovely friendly couple. The apartment has everything you could need. You may have to share the pool with the other guest's, but it is definitely large enough, and when we were there, we both ended up using it at different times, so we both had it to ourselves! The apartment is a bit remote, so a car is necessary, but that is part of its appeal, as it makes it a nice, quiet, relaxing place to stay, but its not that far to drive into the larger towns.We would definitely recommend it, for a quiet, relaxing holiday stay.

Casa do Mar is a huge, six bedroomed, perfectly located villa with a large swimming pool and lovely extensive gardens with its own path leading down to the beautiful Praia de Luz beach. We were a party of 5 adults and 5 kids and there was plenty of space to spare both inside the villa and outside on the patio as well as round the pool and the gardens. The villa is full of character and is equipped with everything you need and more. Excellent communication from Susannah made all the pre-holiday arrangements easy and Will was at hand on site when we encountered a minor problem. All in all Casa do Mar is the perfect place to stay for a large party.

Stayed as a family during August and had an enjoyable, relaxed and comfortable holiday. Excellent communication with the owner, Janis, and Lurdes, who handed over keys and looked after the Villa, before and during our stay. Villa was in an excellent location, very clean and comfortable and had all of the amenities and equipment we needed. Would definitely stay again if in Ferragudo.

This really is an incredible property in an outstanding location! It is apparent that a huge amount of effort has gone into the design, layout and landscaping of the house and we appreciated everything. Especially the sea view from the top terrace in the morning! Situated just steps away from one of the most beautiful beaches in the world and close to Lagos and Luz - it was ideal for our family. We had the very best time, bbq in the outdoor kitchen and lazy days around the pool as well as nights out to the two restaurants just 5mins walk away and evenings in Lagos. Excellent communication with the owner and management company and everything was as listed. Thank you so much, it was perfect - we will be back.

We had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful villa for two weeks. The villa was spotlessly clean and the pictures of the view into Lagos really don’t do it justice. The good sized pool is surrounded by a well manicured gardens and with two bedrooms on the ground floor and one big bedroom upstairs. We loved how bright and airy it was in villa and would not hesitate to recommend it.

Loved central location with harbour and marina on doorstep Everything within 300m radius Lovely garden and pool and very quiet at this time of the year Suited us perfectly and great terrace. This was probably the most beautiful and luxurious apartment we have ever stayed in. It was very spacious inside and with a huge well equipped balcony looking out over the pool and gardens, to the sea. It had a definite 5* feel and we loved spending time there. The apartment and the whole complex was immaculate, everything was thought of, and so comfortable. Great shutters for security and AC for summer months. We were there over Easter but it still felt quiet and peaceful, with birdsong, often having the pools or jacuzzi and sauna to ourselves, and just a few steps to walk to the headland or down a 5 min shortcut to the beach. There are great walks along the coast from the apartment to Luz in one direction and Ponte de Piedade in the other- such a stunning coastline.We couldn't stop taking photos! We also hired a car through Luzcars- (highly recommend) and enjoyed trips to Sagres and Silves, picked up groceries at the intermarche 5 mins away, but it was also very easy and cheap to get a taxi (just over 3 euros) into Lagos in the evening. We also enjoyed minigolf in Lagos ( parking underneath.) Maria, the property manager was excellent with our arrival arrangements and we were able to order some fresh food to start our holiday. Communication with the host was also excellent. We would highly recommend this 5* apartment.
