We were 4 (2 adults, 2 teens) plus our Labrador. Bass Cottage was a cosy delight! Clean, well equipped, beautifully appointed and super close to the beach.

A great welcome. Flowers from the garden, lamps turned on and cream tea on arrival. Beautiful cosy cottage with good quality appliances and kitchen utensils. Lovely welcoming village with amazing village shop nearby which also has a delivery and sells coffee etc. long opening hours too. Garden lovely and we sat out most evenings before dinner.Beautiful area with lovely beaches and gardens nearby.

Definitely 10/10! The cottage was perfect and in wonderful condition. It was lovely and warm when we arrived and our first impression was 'Wow!' Very clean, well kept and plenty of space. Peaceful location and ideal for visiting my family in Helford (20 mins).

Perfect! Exactly what we wanted in a beautiful part of the country. Ideal location to explore the local area. Peaceful and relaxing couple of days. Paula made us feel very welcome.

Lovely small property with cosy open fire. Easy access to a creek walk and about 20mins from anywhere on the Lizard. Be aware it is down small lanes and recommend if you are cooking you buy everything at. Helston on way. Great play barn with table tennis etc and a play field for kids

Very comfortable cottage, beautifully situated within strolling distance to the amenities in the village and beach.

We love staying here! Henrietta is lovely, cosy and well equipped for her size. A welcoming cream tea is provided as a welcome from the host Paula. Dogs are welcome too. Easy access to the coast path - just under 5 miles to Lizard point. Will definitely be visiting again.

Poppy cottage was the perfect stay for our first ever visit to Cornwall! Paula was very helpful and the cream tea on arrival was a lovely surprise! The location is great, very close to the local pub and the coastal path literally at the end of the garden! The cottage was very clean, cosy and peaceful- amazing for star gazing at night! Thank you Paula, I'm sure we will be back!
