This was such a unique place to stay and was spotlessly clean. The carriage and train-themed bits and bobs were truely special. So much thought and care had gone into making us feel welcome. We had a lovely stay. The local area is extremely picturesque too. We felt really comfortable.
This carriage is absolutely beautiful! Has everything you need, in a stunning location. The host was so lovely and welcoming. The decor is so beautiful and we had an absolutely amazing stay, exploring part of Cornwall.

It is small but we knew that before booking! The locality and friendliness of the owners more than makes up for lack of space. Charming, peaceful, idyllic and perfect for a quiet getaway

A pleasant, secluded spot to stay with dog in tow and very close to the coast path.
Cute to be staying in a converted railway carriage. Cosy, spotless and perfect. So easy to walk into Cadgwith as well plus two minutes from the coast path.
Loved our stay in Harriet, it was a perfect little space tucked away in an idealic location. Lovely cream tea waited for us, and the host was very welcoming and lovely. Would definitely recommend
The hosts Paula and Paul were on hand if needed, the afternoon tea was delicious!! Henrietta was warm and cosy perfect for us and Holly (the dog). There was so much to and not enough time to do it all! The Harry Potter series was being filmed at the time of are stay so we had to go and take a nosey in the village. But all in all an extremely lovely holiday.
This is a lovely place to stay, surrounded by beautiful stunning landscape, in a quiet area with a nice village and pub within walking distance. Highly recommended.
It’s a lovely property, great location and the hosts could not have been more helpful. Would absolutely recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the Lizard
Lovely and quiet, out of the way. Great hosts, lovely pub just down the road Cadgwith Cove Inn, with some of the best food I have had in a long time.I would definitely recommend staying here.
Loved it , quirky and unusual with fab history. Decor was great. Host was excellent and we had lovely cream tea waiting for us on arrival and popped over to say hello and provide some local knowledge. We loved how quiet the location is . Perfect for a weekend recharge and to explore the Luzard peninsula.
Situated in close to and up the hill from the charming harbour village of Cadgwith, this accommodation is tucked away in a beautiful corner of The Lizard.
Paula, our host, was lovely and the facilities are first-rate. Recommended to visit - don't forget to say hello to the goats!
Perfect for couples & met all our needs. A really cute space and warm enough in the winter months. Set in a beautiful garden & lovely stream going past the window. Delighted it’s dog friendly too.
My friend and I stayed 2 nights with our dogs, really wish we could have stayed longer. The carriage and grounds were amazing, the location was perfect for walking and exploring the area. Couldn’t fault anything, lovely place and owners. Thanks so much!!!!

We have lived here for 20 years with our 3 children, goats ducks and chickens, and couldn't live anywhere else!!!!
Why they chose this property
We had fallen in love with Cadgwith 35 years ago and had to live here. With direct access to the coast path, quiet, but within walking distance to the cove, beach & Pub. The cove does not change, and is an authentic fishing community seldom found in Cornwall anymore.
What makes this property unique
Access to SW coast path, and short walk to beach, pub & cafe and fresh crab & lobster shops.
