Overall, a pleasant experience at the mansion, The accommodation was spacious enough for our group of six, and we appreciated having multiple bathrooms, The decor felt homey and inviting, While it’s a bit remote, we found some nice dining options nearby, particularly La Récréation, which was just a short drive away, The only downside was the distance from the airport, but it was manageable, If you're looking for a quiet getaway in the countryside, this place fits the bill

How quiet it is here. This is deepest rural France although shops for provisions are only 20 mins away and the market on Sunday at Cazals is a must. Swimming pool is great and of a good size. Our only criticism is the fact that the sleeping house is separate from the living house but this is manageable. This place is ideal for those who like peace and quiet.

La maison est magnifiquement située, entourée par la nature et offrant une vue panoramique fantastique, en particulier au coucher du soleil, qui est une expérience inoubliable. Le concept de deux maisons est très pratique. La maison du jour est spacieuse, avec une cuisine parfaitement équipée et un coin télévision confortable, ainsi qu’une toilette, un lavabo et une douche. La terrasse est belle et grande, mais malheureusement non protégée du soleil, ce qui la rend inutilisable lorsqu'il fait très chaud et surtout le soir. La maison nuit est très confortable, avec des chambres spacieuses et des salles de bains. Entre les deux maisons, un escalier mène à la piscine, qui est très agréable et grande (10 x 5 m). Dommage que l'eau ne puisse pas être chauffée, car le système est en panne. Dans les environs, vous pouvez faire de superbes balades de 1 à 5-10 km. Il faut approcher la maison prudemment en voiture, car les routes sont étroites et il n'est pas recommandé de rouler à grande vitesse. Dans l'ensemble, nous avons passé de très belles vacances, la région est riche en histoire et en sites naturels, en vins et en gastronomie.

Wij hebben hier met 3 koppels een super tijd gehad. Heel rustig afgelegen huisje met veel privacy. Concept van 2 huisjes is top. Zwembad met prachtig uitzicht, en goede moderne keuken. Er zijn 3 slaapkamers: 2 met twee dubbele bedden en 1 kamer met twee enkele bedden. en goede matrassen! Twee slaapkamers op gelijkvloers en 1 slaapkamer met open trap en eigen badkamer op 1e verdieping. 3 wc’s aanwezig, 2 douches en 1 bad. Zwembad is (denk ik) niet verwarmd. Maar wel heerlijk liggen onder de luifels in de schaduw! Een grotere eettafel is aan te raden om gezellig buiten te eten met 6 personen. Ook de buitenstoelen )zowel boven als aan zwembad) zijn aan vernieuwing toe. Enkel qua hygiëne kon het wat beter: stof, spinnenwebben, vuile wc borstels, douches niet top top,… leuke wandel wegjes nabij. Salviac, Cazals en Cahors zijn zeer leuke stadjes nabij!! Echt een aanrader! wij zouden zeker terug gaan!!!

Quelle perle ! Cette maison est une véritable échappatoire au tumulte, Nous avons été émerveillés par les vues pittoresques et la tranquillité des environs, Les enfants ont adoré jouer dans le jardin, et nous avons apprécié les barbecues du soir tout en regardant le coucher de soleil, Les hôtes étaient accueillants et ont veillé à ce que nous ayons tout ce dont nous avions besoin, Les commodités comme la machine à laver et le gril BBQ étaient définitivement un plus, Nous avons hâte de revenir pour de nouvelles vacances relaxantes !

Superbe maison bien équipée avec vue sublime sur la campagne environnante . Rien, ni personnes aux alentours, tranquillité assurée ! Chien accepté mais attention contrairement à ce qui est annoncé, aucune clôture ! Malgré tout la route est loin et peu passante. Superbe piscine chauffée.

Woning met veel mogelijkheden. 3 kamers en badkamers, mooi zwembad, nieuwe keuken, leuk interieur en zeer rustig gelegen. Spijtig genoeg wordt het verblijf niet goed onderhouden. 1 defecte douche, lekkende kraan aan de wastafel, verstopte dakgoten waardoor bij regenweer het water binnenstroomt langs de voordeur, maar vooral niet goed gepoetst. Bij onze aankomst vonden we nog overal stof , spinnenwebben en waren de badkamers niet proper. Hierdoor kreeg onze vakantiebeleving een serieuze deuk.

De buitenomgeving, het zwembad, terras en de keuken waren zeer aangenaam. Spijtig dat het idylische vakantiegevoel verstoord werd door onhygiënische omstandigheden. De netheid van de kamers, badkamers , woonkamer lieten te wensen over. Schimmels in de badkamers( douche), hondenharen op de mat in de woonkamer, overal spinnenwebben en andere insecten, slaapkamers beneden waren erg vochtig en roken erg muf. In de slaapkamers beneden was amper bergruimte voor je kleren . De manden die er stonden in de kast roken zo muf dat we onze kleren in onze valiezen hebben gelaten. Bij een hevige regenbui stroomt het water binnen in de slaapkamer. Wifi werkt niet in het woonhuis. Wij komen hier niet meer terug.

We beleefden een zalige week in en rond Maison Mayrac. In deze coronatijd kwamen we amper van onze heuveltop. Dat was ook niet nodig: we konden van 's morgens vroeg tot 's avonds laat genieten van alle leuke plekjes in en rond de huisjes. En vooral van het (verwarmde) top-zwembad. Evert heeft ons perfect ontvangen: genoeg uitleg over de belangrijkste zaken, maar hij liet ook voldoende over om zelf te ontdekken. De omgeving rond Mayrac is mooi en met de vele kaarten en brochures wisten we wat te doen. De huisjes zijn prima uitgerust en kraaknet. De muis uit de vorige review kwam maar één keer vriendelijk piepen. Zo gaat dat, in het midden van de natuur. Wij komen zeker ooit nog terug. Bedankt!

Uitzicht fantastisch, zwembad geweldig, mooie plaatsjes om buiten te zitten, ook in de schaduw, buiten is het kortom top! Binnen heel wat minder... muizen, duizendpoten in de bedden, spinnen in alle hoeken en gaten, muren behangen onder de spinnenwebben, in elke hoek of vensterbank dode muggen, om nog maar te zwijgen wat er allemaal onder de zetel en kasten lag. Wel een zeer mooie keuken met zeer degelijke apparaten. Bij aankomst bleek er geen warm water te zijn. De concierge ter plaatse verwittigd en een paar uur later stond er al een loodgieter, geweldig en snel opgelost. Jammer genoeg was er de volgende dag wederom geen warm water... Terug concierge verwittigd, terug loodgieter langs laten komen, na 1x douchen terug geen warm water meer. Met een baby van 8 maand is het niet ideaal om 4 dagen zonder warm water te zitten. We zijn uiteindelijk een dag vroeger naar huis vertrokken, jammer. Met een deftige poetsbeurt na elk verblijf en een blijvende oplossing voor het water is dit echt een top huis, jammer dat ze het nu zo verwaarlozen.

Sublime endroit Mayrac, de plus avec deux belles petites maisons bien sympas retirés loin du bruit, de la circulation, au calme total, au bout d un chemin ce trouve ce super endroit magnifique, les maisons de Lavercantière, avec sa sublime piscine privé, un accueil chaleureux nous fut réservé, nous nous sommes sentis directement chez nous après ce long voyage qui nous a conduit à un séjour extraordinaire. Très belle manger ou tout y es, super équipé, moderne, propre, rien à dire, ce fut par excellence une des meilleures locations que nous avons eu ! Le beau temps certes était au rdv, mais l endroit est au cœur de toutes les visites possibles et inimaginables que vous pouvez faire dans le Lot et en Dordogne, le propriétaire met a disposition énormément d infos sur tout ce qui peux se visiter lors de votre séjour. Nous avons adoré notre séjour, et sommes prêt à y revenir ! Plein de commodité, pas derranger par personne, par de circulation de la piscine en fond un sublime décor de la vallée. Génial de prendre son petit déjeuner au bord de la piscine. Génial aussi d avoir une maison de jour et de nuit, c est simplement que du bonheur, l endroit idéal pour se ressourcer. Aller y les yeux fermés, vous serai enchanté, le soir tout s illumine avec télécommande: la piscine et le reste des installations ! Le décor soigné des chambres, de la cuisine équipé moderne aménager dans une maison typiquement en pierre, c est subliment très bien réaliser, et vous aides à l évasion total. Encore merci de nous avoir permit de vivre ces instants magiques ! Au plaisir d échanger ensemble. Christian

Wat een heerlijke plek om vakantie te vieren! Een prachtige locatie midden in de ...

Wat een heerlijke plek om vakantie te vieren! Een prachtige locatie midden in de natuur, geen directe buren, prachtige vergezichten, mooi wandelpad direct naast de deur en qua ligging ideaal om steden zoals Sarlat, Rocamadour, Cahors, Domme, St. Cirq Lapopie te bezoeken. Vertier voor jong en oud in de omgeving volop aanwezig zowel in de Lot als in de Dordogne. De opdeling van woon/leefhuis en slaaphuis zijn ideaal en maken dat je ‘s nachts heerlijk kunt slapen in het door de dag heen koel gebleven slaaphuis. Ook het zwembad zorgt overdag voor de benodigde verkoeling en daarnaast zijn er voldoende schaduwplekken om te zitten/liggen. De goed aangelegde (sfeer)verlichting rond het huis maakt dat je ‘s avonds laat nog heerlijk buiten kunt zitten, zwemmen of jeu de boules kunt spelen. Wij zijn meerdere malen in de Dordogne op vakantie geweest maar Lavercantière voldoet wat ons betreft aan alles wat je nodig hebt om een hele fijne vakantie te hebben. Aanbevelen ...... zeker weten!!
