Corte al Duomo in Florence, a cozy apartment with garden by Mmega

A delightful apartment located in via Laura, an excellent position in the historic city center, with the added tranquility of an enclosed garden space. A short walk to Piazza Santissima Annunziata, designed by Brunelleschi himself and said to be the most beautiful square of the city, the apartment is an ideal starting point to explore the many delightful sights of the city. Within a few steps guests can visit the Museo di San Marco, the National Archaeological Museum of Florence, and the Academia which boasts Michelangelo's David.

The house is located on the ground floor of a historical building, and is divided on to two levels. The ground floor hosts a double bedroom, a complete bathroom and a spacious living room with kitchen, dining room and television. From the living room a staircase leads to the mezzanine, where there are two more single beds, allowing the apartment to comfortably accomodate a total of 4 guests.

Guests will have unlimited internet access with Wi-Fi, air conditioning and independent heating.

The apartment was perfectly located just a short walk to downtown. Walking distance to everything. The apartment was clean, quiet and just enough space for the two of us. The hosts gave wonderful recommendations and advice for our first trip to Florence. We will definitely use this property again and refer our friends as well!

We very much enjoyed our stay in this lovely home in Florence! It was very comfortable and met all of our family needs. We also thought is was very conveniently located near the major attractions of Florence. It was about a 15 minute walk to the train station, but close to all the major sites. We wish we could have stayed at this home for longer!

The courtyard was beautiful. The accommodations were very comfortable and the host was extremely accommodating with our difficulties in getting across town from the train station.

Overall, I did enjoy my stay here. The apartment is comfortable, spacious, and clean. The outside area was unkept and in disarray so I was not able to enjoy that space. Location is great for walking to all the things which was so great. Personally, I did struggle with check in. I was driving in from Cortina and couldn’t pin point my exact time. When I finally did arrive, the host seemed frustrated and annoyed and did not want to take time for my questions about the apartment. It was somewhat disheartening.

Excellent location and walkable to sights! The first floor bedroom needs a new mattress and pillows along with a new headboard and bedding. Also when staying more than 2 nights ( we stayed 4 nights) two bath towels per person should be supplied ( not one per person for 4 nights) otherwise we enjoyed our stay and hope to return someday soon!
