This lovely home has everything needed for your vacation. 3 bedrooms (1 full size, 1 full size, 2 twin) and 1 bathroom. There is a fully stocked kitchen (pots & pans, utensils) for a home cooked meal, and a large outdoor grill so you can enjoy quiet meals at home either on the large deck facing the lake or inside the quaint dining room. Don't forget to roast some marshmallows or hot dogs at the fire pit. Swimming, fishing or kayaking is a must. This home sits right on Harriman Pond. There are wonderful scenic trails nearby. Our camp is only about 30 miles to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor!

**New cooktop/range, water heating and filtration system and new bathroom in Spring 2020**
**New furniture, mattress toppers, linens and lighting Spring 2022**

We pump our water from the pond and even though it is filtered it is technically unsafe for drinking. It is approved for all other purposes.

Host profile image
We are both Maine natives. Gene grew up in the Bangor/Brewer area and has always been drawn to the hills of Dedham throughout the years. Christine grew up in rural Central Maine and has always been drawn to mountains and country living. It's a perfect blend of convenience to our jobs and daily relaxation in our home and cabin.

Why they chose this property

Was a great opportunity when it came on the market. We used to live only a couple of miles away on the same road. It's a great getaway for us as well as being very easy to manage for our guests.

What makes this property unique

Absolutely a beautiful area. Many great hikes in the area. Wildlife, fishing and quiet.
