We loved our stay at Mains Cottage.

We loved our stay at Mains Cottage. It was a perfect February getaway for us and our dog Hector. Toasty warm and well equipped. Anne was a great host. The cottage is a lovely base to explore Northumberland from.

Plenty of Castles nearby and the beaches are close by too.

Plenty of Castles nearby and the beaches are close by too.Wooler, a so-called gateway to walks in the Cheviots is only 6 miles away.So Mains Cottage is well placed to reach a variety of tourist destinations - if you have a car.

Couldn't fault the property, The Owner was very friendly and told us some places to visit. The only fault i had was the track upto the property, it was a bit bumpy and a few pot holes but not a problem if you took care. We had a great time and its very peaceful and quiet. Definitely recommend it to anyone. PS, the dog loved it with plenty of beaches near bye to walk on.
