Villa Playa is a magnificent villa situated in front of the beach in Palma de Mallorca on a plot of 1.200 m2. 10 minutes from the airport and 10 minutes from the city center, is located in an ideal location for a relaxing holiday in Mallorca with all amenities at your fingertips: quiet and safe, with a street of restaurants of all kinds (the one in front of the house is Villa del Mar), bars, and 2 supermarkets 5 minutes walk.

With breathtaking views, Villa Playa has a large garden with pool with sun loungers and a balinese bed to enjoy the sun on the island. It also has a front and rear porch with a table tennis table. It has a poolside barbecue for meals and holiday dinners and 5 bikes to enjoy the promenade along the bay of Palma whose bike path runs right between the villa and the beach and going right allows travel 10 km going by the cathedral (km 5), and going to the left also about 10 km to get to Arenal. Close has a bus stop (15) that very often in a few minutes takes you to the center of Palma. It offers free internet access, heating, air conditioning and a cot and baby chair. Access to park your cars inside.

It has a very cozy part, with a dining room, with direct access to the pool and two double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The other part is more modern and has two double rooms and one single, a kitchen with an island and direct access to the terrace, a spacious living room with a balcony overlooking the sea from where you can watch the sunset at dusk. and an upper terrace with chill out. It also has Wi-Fi and air conditioning.

Furthermore, it also has got 4 TV's, 3 of them with satellite TV to watch international channels, 2 washing machines and a two dryers, filtered water...

For more than 6 guests there is an additional charge per person per day.

Truly enjoyed our stay. Nice area a stonethrow from beach and restaurants. House is very well equipped and true to what is being advertised. Bernat and family are excellent, kind and forthcoming hosts. Happy to come back at some point.

A magnificent Villa in a superb location

We loved every bit of our week at the villa, it was immaculately cleaned and had everything you could wish for. The owners were very helpful as well. We would definitely stay there again.

Firstly, the welcome from Bernat and his daughter was exceptional. We were two hours early and whilst one of the houses wasn't quite ready they invited us to leave our car and cases at the property and share some fizz and delicious pastries with them. They could not have been more welcoming and generous. They set our holiday off in exactly the right way due to their warmth of personality and kindness.The houses are in a perfect location and are exactly as described on the site. The family have thought of everything that you could possibly need to have a great stay as the houses are so well equipped. I would recommend these properties wholeheartedly. A fantastic holiday which we will always remember.

Lovely villa!

Lovely well-equipped villa. Very welcoming and helpful hosts. Perfect location on the beach. A short walk to bars/restaurants and supermarket, and just 10-15 mins in a cab to central Palma. Our group of 8 had a wonderful time.

In a nut shell, great location-close to the Airport, 100m from the beach, surrounded by great restaurants, 6 bikes for getting around, met on arrival, cake and drinks. Great villa, well equipped. Great support from the hosts. An amazing time!

Amazing House and Location

We loved the house, the grill and all the outdoor living areas right next to the amazing swimming pool. The beach is steps away which took the vacation to another level. Lastly, the house is in a great location to restaurants and grocery store. The Hosts were wonderful and I would give this property more than 5 stars!!

Very nice villa in a great location

Bernat and Marga were wonderful, and they provided us a warm champaign greeting. The property is next to a nice beach with various restaurants and grocery stores within a 5-minute walk. We enjoyed the pool, riding the bikes, using the outdoor grill, and some Netflix movies on the big screen late at night. Ten minute drive to Palma or the airport, and the villa is spacious, clean and comfortable.

Amazing Property

The house is very well appointed with every amenity one would need. The rooms were quiet, the beds were comfortable and the linens were high quality, I especially appreciated the robes that were provided for each room. The property is spacious and has several private areas for guests to relax together with the group or separately. The neighborhood is fantastic with shops and restaurants within walking distance. Most importantly, our host Bernat could not have been more gracious and accommodating. I have rented houses in many places and I would have to say this property exceeds expectations.

Amazing villa

We had the most amazing stay at Bernat and Marga’s beautiful villa. Both hosts were so friendly and accommodating, offering drinks and pastries on arrival and allowing us to drop our backs whilst waiting to check-in. The villa has everything you could possibly need, plenty of crockery and glassware and stocked with essential supplies that we were able to use. The garden and pool area are lovely, with plenty of places to lounge and eat outside. The location is perfect, virtually on the beach and supermarkets, bars and clubs restaurants are all in easy walking distance. Would highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Palma. We’ll definitely be back!

Great family holiday

If you are looking for an exceptional family villa next to the beach, you have found it. We were warmly welcomed upon arrival by the owners with drinks and delicious food followed by an informative tour of the extensive property. We wanted for nothing during our stay as everything was more than adequately supplied. The children were thrilled with the pool and thoroughly spoilt with the clean beach just across the road, where sand castles galore were built. Villa was very well situated with shops, restaurants and childrens play area just ten minutes walk away. Our grateful thanks to the owners - Bernat and family for making our stay at their beautiful villa a very memorable family holiday and hope to return again one day.

Fabulous villa, great location

Owners welcomed us with Prosecco and delicious pastries. Very welcoming family and nothing was too much trouble. Very communicative via VRBO, WhatsApp and email. The villa was a short 15 min taxi from the airport and Palma city was only 20 mins in the car. Location is right on the beach and has fabulous outlook. It’s a well appointed villa that’s actually two houses with every thing you could possibly need. It was a pleasure to stay in their lovely home and there are plenty of fabulous restaurants close by. Eroski and Lidl just 5 min walk. Definitely recommend and we will be returning. A definite 5 star accommodation .

While i really wanted to give this villa a 5, I just couldn’t. We had several issues. First, the amenities said the place had a hot tub. Upon asking a question about it the day before arrival we learned it did not. That was one of the key factors that we chose this place. It was also a big factor that it was basically two homes so large enough for our big family. However, after two nights in the older home we had to move in the updated one for two reasons… mold and mildew smell from a leak in the bathroom (we had water coming through from the big rainstorm) and secondly and most import our daughter in Law saw two mice that morning… and they have a baby! We live on a ranch so we have the occasional mouse so the owner set out traps and we stayed there that night instead of them since they had a baby. The next morning my husband came face to face with a big rat.. not a mouse. We immediately moved back to the newer home which isn’t very convenient for my husband as the only comfortable sitting area is upstairs and he had knee surgery and had not recovered. This also meant tight quarters for us. The owner tried to make up for no hot tub by giving us 4 massages but unfortunately we could only use 2 of them as there was any conventions open. We did return the two unused certificates. The owner did refund us a portion of our rental amount but it really didn’t make up for the issues we experienced. I read all great reviews on this rental but I guess we were just the unlucky ones.

Surprised how wonderful it was and it worked out well with the 2 houses and so close to beach and our hosts were delightful even taking our family to the airport when they couldn’t get a taxi My only concern was the sundial which is very sharp and our little granddaughter grazed herself on there one day and the steep stone steps in house No 2 to upstairs area very dangerous for small children and no indication of depth of water in the pool and we kept getting green stuff gathering round the pool which stained all of our swimwear

Perfect for a big familj.

We were totally 9 persons( 3 mums and 6 teenage daughters). The house many bathrooms and bedrooms so it never felt crowded. We loved the pool area and the many different places we could hang around. It was only 5 min walk to two different supermarkets and the public bus to Palma. The beach just outside the house was very nice. It was a nice walk and bike road just outside the house all the way to Palma. The house was in a quiet and safe area so our teenager could walk home from the bus in nighttime. The owners was so friendly and helpful. They helped us when one of our girls had to go the hospital. We could really recommend to rent this house if you want a nice and relaxed holiday .

PERFECT home in Mallorca!!!!!

This was an amazing experience - the perfect location for a family holiday! The home is gorgeous. It is actually 2 adjoining homes that both open onto a large patio with a gorgeous pool, lots of seating. We actually didn’t spend much time in the houses themselves, but the bedrooms were comfortable and the kitchens were fully equipped with cookware and dinnerware. We spent most of our time on the patio and in the pool. The home is a short bus ride to downtown Palma, with a number of great restaurants within walking distance. The area felt very safe for our teens to go out on their own, for food and gelato. On check in, the owners met us with champagne and local pastry, and they were accessible during our stay for questions. I cannot day enough good things about this house, and would recommend it for anyone looking for a great spot to travel with family!!! We are already trying to figure out when we can return!! :)

Fabulous villa in a wonderful location

We are a family of 10 celebrating my husband’s 70th birthday. We had 2 teens, a 2 year old and 3 month old baby so finding somewhere to keep everyone happy was a task. This villa was absolutely perfect! We were greeted by Bernat and Miguel who could not have been more welcoming with drinks and local delicacies before showing us around. The villa is not a holiday rental but a beautiful home. It has everything you could possibly want. The swimming pool is fabulous and provided many hours of fun. The lovely sandy beach is literally over the road. We will certainly miss our morning dip! There are so many seating/sun bathing/dining areas that you never feel on top of each other but also so many areas you can all sit together when you want to. You really don’t need a hire car as you can walk to so many lovely restaurants. We had our birthday meal at the Bungalow and it was really special. Salt baked Sea Bass and Paella were wonderful and all overlooking the sea! We also caught the number 35 bus which is just outside Lidl. Palma is in one direction and Playa de Palma in the other where you will find no end of restaurants. We just had the most amazing holiday and can’t wait to return. Thank you Bernat!

HOME AWAY FROM HOME! AMAZING

Honestly don’t know where to begin.Bernat and marga were wonderful hosts. Upon arrival at the villa the whole family was greeted with a cold drink and cakes ( which by the way were delicious). After being shown around we were left to settle in. The villa is made up of 2 houses together. House 2 was modern and house 1 a little more traditional. Both lovely and perfectly equipped with everything you could possibly need for the the duration of your stay. There was air conditioning throughout also which was great as we were staying in a humid 34/35 degree heat. The pool was just the right size and the hosts provided plenty of towels too. There was also an outside shower and toilet which we found very convenient .As we spent all of our time outside both in the day and at night, it really helped to have so much in the way of seating. Lots of different places to sit or lie and relax and again lots of shaded areas to protect us from the sun too! My son loved the Bali bed. The villa had stunning views of the beach and was situated so that all you had to do was walk out of the villa gate, cross a path and there you were! Was within walking distance of lots of shops and supermarkets so we were able to stock up on food and drink very easily. Restaurants, there were too many to choose from, but the ones we went to catered perfectly to families. It really was a home from home and one we could find no fault in! Beautiful villa, perfect location, and the most wonderful hosts!! Thanks
