Villa Martinica is a charming countryside retreat, ideal for families seeking peace, comfort and scenic views in a convenient location between Guia and Galé.



The living and dining area is bright and welcoming, creating the perfect space for family moments.



The property features one double bedroom en suite with a bathtub and two twin bedrooms, both en suite with a shower. There is also a guest bathroom for added convenience.



The kitchen is fully equipped and connects directly to the terrace, perfect for preparing and enjoying outdoor meals.



Outside, the terrace offers a dining area with a traditional BBQ, while the private pool, surrounded by lawn and relaxing spaces, invites you to enjoy the Algarve sunshine. The countryside views complete this peaceful setting.



Villa Martinica is located between Guia and Galé, in a quiet area just a short drive from typical restaurants, beaches and the main attractions of the region.



The changeover day for this property is Saturday (however, there may be flexibility in low season).

If your flights are already booked or your dates are fixed and do not match the property's changeover day, please send us an inquiry before booking to confirm if your dates can be accommodated.



This property is self-catered. For your convenience, welcome food baskets can be booked in advance (additional cost).



Renting a car is not essential for your stay, given the property’s location. However, if you wish, we will be happy to assist with the car rental. We can also arrange transfers if needed.



There are some restrictions for group bookings.



Please note that the occupancy for this property is 6 guests

From the 7th to the 8th guest, an additional fee will be charged, which includes additional beds.

Before leaving, please turn off all lights, A/C units and non-essential equipment. Thank you for supporting energy sustainability.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Minimum/multiples 7 night stay & Changeover day is on Saturday, however this may be flexible in low season.

Relaxing holiday with beautiful views

Villa Martinica gave us the best of both worlds, a peaceful countryside feel and quick access to Albufeira and Salgados beach. The villa itself is very well kept, and the layout works really well for familiescouples travelling together. The pool area was our favourite spot, surrounded by greenery and very private. Everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out.

Great family villa in a calm location

This villa was just what we were looking for, calm, spacious, and close to everything without being in the middle of the crowds. Guia is only 5 minutes away and has great local restaurants. The kids loved the pool and garden area, while we appreciated the privacy and lovely rural views. Kitchen had everything we needed, and the outdoor space was perfect for evening meals. Highly recommend it for families.

Peaceful countryside retreat near Albufeira

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Martinica, it's tucked away in a quiet area near Guia, which was perfect for relaxing after busy beach days. The views over the countryside were beautiful, and we especially enjoyed our meals on the terrace with the built-in BBQ. The house was spotless, with three good-sized bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, great for our group of friends. Would happily return!

Kitchen had basics, nothing extra.Sheets and linens were worn out.Pool was nice.Property manger was not much help, more interested in sending us to her favorite restaurant, lost power one day and did not here back for 12 hours.

You did not mention any issue with the sheets or linens, otherwise our team would have promptly replaced them. The visit of our local representative aims to welcome guests, show them around the villa, and share recommendations about local restaurants and activities. The intention is always to enhance our guests’ experience. Regarding the power outage, this was a temporary interruption that affected the entire area and was managed by the local electricity provider, not related to the villa itself. Portugal vacation

Although the payment process was choppy and not well organized, the property was perfect. The property is very roomy and comfortable. The kitchen well stocked. My children and grandchildren came for a family BBQ and we had enough dishes and utensils to serve everyone. The swimming pool is large and very well filtered. Once you pass the original paperwork step, the experience is one of pure delight.

Das Haus ist sehr geräumig. Alle Schlafzimmer mit Klimaanlage und angrenzendem Bad. Erfreulicherweise wurden in 2 Badezimmern die Badewannen durch begehbare Duschen ausgetauscht. Der große Pool ist sensationell. Wir lieben diese Villa.

Sehr ruhige Lage. Auto oder Taxi erforderlich. Großer Pool, schöne Außenanlage. Das Haus ist geräumig, jedes Schlafzimmer hat ein eigenes Badezimmer. Zusätzlich ist eine separate Toilette vorhanden. Insgesamt ein hoher Erholungswert, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Als Kritikpunkte sind zu erwähnen: Außendusche funktionierte mehrmals nicht, wurde auf Anfrage behoben. Die Außenbeleuchtung am Pool und am Eingang flackerte, behoben wurde nur die Beleuchtung am Pool. Schade fanden wir, dass wir mehrfach bis zu drei Mal an unsere Mängelanzeigen erinnern mussten, damit sich jemand kümmerte. Dadurch dauerte die Mängelbeseitigung immer relativ lange. Genereller Sanierungsrückstand: Lichtschalter teilweise defekt, mehrere schon länger bestehende Wasserschäden an den Wänden, teilweise große Setzrisse in den Wänden und Wandfliesen.

Maison très propre, belle piscine, très agréable d'avoir 3 salles de bain, linge très propre, lits très confortables. Arrivée pratique avec les clefs en boitier. Merci à Sandra pour son déplacement et sa sympathie. Réponse rapide en cas de petit soucis, robinet d'évier défectueux à l'extérieur changé le lendemain. Toutefois la gérance se passe en Angleterre et pour les personnes non bilingue c'est assez compliqué lors des premiers échanges par mail. Il faut également préciser que la maison est mitoyenne avec une autre location semblable, mais fin septembre ca n'était pas un problème. En résumé nous recommandons cette location.

This basic property is in need of updating and some maintenance too. The furnishings are mostly tired and dated. In particular, the pool furniture could be replaced. Overall, we genuinely believed that we overpaid for this villa. That said, we had a great time and enjoyed our stay.

Super Herbst Familienurlaub

Urlaub bei bis zu 29 Grad Ende Oktober. Viel zu unternehmen von dieser tollen Villa aus. Absolute Alleinlage und damit tolle Familienzeit. Pool etwas kühl, aber nicht für die Kids...Wir haben die Auszeit sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder.

Villa Martinica

Fabulous Villa, very clean, beautiful location, peaceful and tranquil. Very comfortable beds. The sofas in the lounge area are a little worn however that didn’t affect the comfort. I would recommend this Villa for all the best reasons and it’s close to all amenities. If you want to go to the beach I would recommend a car, we hired a car from the airport to the Villa but if we wanted to go out and not worry about drinking and driving we hired an Uber they are cheaper than taxis.

Calme et tranquilité
