Grampa's Beach House, Ocean View, Grover Beach

Cozy small house in North Grover Beach, great ocean and Pismo dune views from huge living-room windows and porch.

You will have the whole house to yourselves! The home sits by itself on lot, no other tenants, and no owners are onsite. It is located on a corner lot, plenty of room outside, open and airy feeling, neighbors are on one side only.

The covered, ocean-view front porch, with chairs and table, is perfect for relaxing and enjoying our stunning Central Coast sunsets. Plenty of parking. Small backyard patio.

There is one queen bed. One large couch (not a bed), plus one air bed (adult-sized, electric-inflated).

Authentic mid-century decor and furniture and bric-a-brac, most of which have been in our family for decades. :) Don't expect fancy marble countertops and Xenon lighting (ha-ha), just a clean and comfortable stay with authentic retro character.

All photos have all actually been taken from the living room and porch of the house, not from "nearby".

The home is located in beautiful Grover Heights, a short drive or bike ride to the entrance to Oceano Dunes, Pismo Beach, and the Butterfly Preserve.

Unlike staying at a hotel, you will have a full kitchen, small-full-sized refrigerator, and full-sized stove (experience the spotless '50s-vintage O'Keefe & Meritt-including full-sized oven, broiler, even a built-in griddle for your homemade pancakes! They don't make 'em like this anymore...), microwave, dining table for four, with view.

Also unlike at most hotels/STRs, you are welcome to bring any*/all of your doggies, to enjoy the beautiful Central Coast with you! (No limit on number, just $50 per pet, per stay. )

*Dog breed limitations: While we ourselves love all shapes/sizes/colors/breeds of dogs, we personally know others who have had regrettably have had instances of pit bull/terrier breeds (and others) attacking people or other dogs, resulting in liability claims. Insurance companies sometimes even deny coverage for injury claims in which those breeds are involved. Thus, we regret that our property cannot accept pit bull or related terrier breeds, or any mixes including those breeds. Should we learn one of those breeds is on the property (regardless of whether brought by you or any visitor) we reserve the right to immediately cancel your occupancy and require your whole party to vacate immediately.
