About this property

Enjoy Corner Office Beach Views In This Top Floor Condominium

This three bedroom-three bath condominium sleeps 8 comfortably. Located on the top floor, two properties south of the Ritz Carlton (10 minute walk), this end unit provides spectacular views of the beach, as well as west facing windows to see the sunsets over the live oak forests. There is a television in each bedroom as well as the living room.... but you'll probably rather watch the sun rises, sunsets, surf, gopher tortoises and sea birds, as the views are fantastic. High speed internet is included in all rentals. There are two swimming pools and four tennis courts. It is close to shopping and many of the wonderful Amelia Island restaurants. And this lovely condo is right on the beach.

The condo is located in building A of the Amelia Surf and Racquet Club. The property is gated, providing an extra level of security. The unit is bright and cheery to remind you: "If you're lucky enough to be at the beach, you're lucky enough!"

We welcome anyone and everyone to enjoy this beautiful beachfront resort, but the Amelia Surf and Racquet Club has a strict "no pet" policy. So those members of your family will have to take a vacation of their own with either a house sitter or at a good boarding facility. The building is also a "no smoking" building.

It's a beautiful location with easy access to the beach. It's great that every bedroom has its own bathroom. The beds were very comfortable. Plenty of seating in the living room and everything we needed in the kitchen.

Very clean condo. Had plenty of places to sit in living room. Kitchen was nice but a little small for 6 adults. Bathrooms very nice. The only thing we didnt like was the mattresss. To hard for us and two beds are very high and hard to get into. Over all nice place. The view is great.

About the host

Rob and Linda live just 20 minutes from the condo. Rob is a veterinarian, but he's now engaged as the Executive Director of the American Association of Zoo Veterinarians. Linda is a PhD reproduction expert and works with zoos and animal institutions around the world helping to prevent extinction of endangered species. Both Rob and Linda have a healthy respect for animals and the environment, and they encourage you to take advantage of viewing all of the wildlife, both on land and in the sea, during your visit.

Why they chose this property

A realtor friend of ours informed us of the availability of the property in early 2017. We looked at it and fell in love with it. Although we live close enough to the ocean and salt water marshes, we love spending a night or two at the condo when it's not entertaining guests. It's quiet and comfortable, and it's the perfect "get away" for us. When we retire, we will probably move into the unit as our primary residence.

What makes this property unique

As one of our recent guest put it, virtually anywhere you sit in the condo you have beautiful views. We looked at other condos when we decided to purchase one, but the minute we walked into this unit we knew this was the one we had to have. We think you'll feel the same way.
We both have done extensive travel in our professions, so we have a good feeling of what feels "comfortable" while traveling. We have made attempts to ensure that the condo feels as comfortable as possible to our guests. We think you'll feel that comfort.
