The cabin was very clean kitchen was left stock The location was the very beat. The cabin had plenty of space for my husband and myself. We enjoyed our stay very much. Spend 3 nights was very close to the park. A very short drive.
Second time staying here. Clean - well maintained - very private-fully equipt kitchen. Only 5 miles from Glacier. After long day in the park hiking etc yr home . They genuinely - honestly care that you have an excellent experience. Highly recommend staying there. Will definitely stay again.
This property was just as described. The location was perfect for us on our trip. The property manager was quick to respond to any questions. The only confusion we had was which cabin was actually ours.
We so thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Fisherman's Cabin! This was an excellent place to stay after a day full of adventuring around Glacier National Park. We appreciated how close it was to the park entrance, especially since a lot of the hikes we did required you to be at the trailhead early. It was a bit of a jaunt over to Many Glacier/St. Mary but we knew that and the drive itself was stunning. We found some great fishing holes on the Flathead, which made for great rest days in-between hiking days. The cabin was clean, cozy, and a perfect place. Thanks so much for the place to stay!!

Very nice property both inside and out. Get groceries before you arrive in Columbia Falls or other. Private cabin or you can visit with neighbors. Beautiful decor. We were in the Fisherman cabin. Caretakers on property so easy to talk with. We felt very safe and it was quiet. Someone mentioned railroad nearby, but barely heard train at night. Well stocked kitchen.

The cabin is in very good condition and was comfortable.
As I noted the cabin is in very good condition and is comfortable. However I never saw any mention that it is located near a railroad track and that freight trains run night and day. Also the cabin is missing basic cooking spices that have always been available in prior rentals. Finally the bathtub drain needs to be cleared.

I'm glad you found the cabin comfortable and in good condition. We take pride in the property and the comfort of our guests. The train tracks pass through the backside of the 10 acre property and the sound is mostly buffered by the pine trees. The trains are not mentioned because northern Montana is train country and you can hear them throughout the valley. Some people don't mind them, some do. I'm sorry it impacted your stay with us. Your other suggestions are being addressed. Thank you for bringing them to our attention and taking the time to leave a review.

The cabin decor was cute but not comfortable. The bedroom was so small you couldn't even find a place for your suitcase, the bed was extremely uncomfortable & Squeaked terribly, the futon couch was so uncomfortable you could not sleep OR sit on it, the varnish on the table & cabinets was so sticky it caused issues & the area outside was very noisy. Cute decor, clean & location were the only items in it's favor.
The place was clean and nice. We bought groceries on the way there, but the refrigerator was warm. I turned it up, gave it time, but it stayed warm. They replaced the fridge on day 3 but our food was already ruined. There was no can opener but she sent one over quickly. I had asked about bedding for the futon, but got no reply. I went ahead and broke the zip tie on what looked like a canvas bag of bedding and found extra sheets and a blanket. Overall nice area and place but I feel there’s no way they didn’t know the fridge was broken.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Comments from our guest insure we continue to provide top-notch accommodations and service.
I'm glad you found the cabin nice and clean. I'm sorry for the inconvenience of the warm refrigerator. The unit had just been cleaned prior to your arrival and the interior of the fridge was cold when it was wiped down.
There is a spare fridge kept on-site and available for just such an instance. We know this is important because of the distance we are from an appliance store. We depend on our guests to notify us as soon as there is a problem. In this case the managers were notified 3 days into your stay and then were able to swap the fridge out in a timely manner.
There is a comprehensive binder in each cabin that details important information such as wifi passwords, amenities provided, location of futon bedding, etc. The bedding is secured in a canvas bag with a small zip tie so the cleaners know when it has been opened and used. They can then ensure each guest has clean, unused linens.
Once again, I'm sorry for the inconvenience of the fridge but we know appliances can fail at any time. It was in working order prior to your arrival when it was cleaned. I'm glad you felt overall "it was a nice area and place".

This property was exactly as described. Check in and directions, etc. were very easy. The location was great, as it was close to the West Glacier entrance, and also not too far from Columbia Falls and Kalispell if we wanted to explore outside of Glacier. The host(s) were very prompt when communicating throughout our stay. My friend and I especially enjoyed utilizing the front porch in the evenings, along with the grill.
Very nice place. Clean as a whistle. Very Quiet. 10” from West Glacier entrance. The lack of Wi-Fi was the only downside to our stay. The fact that the outage seems to have been a long term issue and still not addressed all the more frustrating.
The cabin is small but well laid out and thoughtfully equipped. The landscaping is cared for beautifully. I got the impression the hosts care to offer a quality stay and they did, providing everything we needed but nothing superfluous. It was close to the West entrance of GNP, so very convenient for us. There is wi-fi and cell service, but not enough to do much more than text and search without being able to open sites, so don't plan on buying your Going-to-the Sun-Road pass online. Luckily, you'll be close enough to enter the park before 6 a.m., so you won't need the vehicle reservation.
Beautiful cabin, nicely decorated and contained all the amenities we needed! The location is perfect for adventuring Glacier NP and other local attractions.
A wonderful cabin with the right accessories to have a good trip to Glacier. Easy commute to Glacier National Park, Columbia Falls, and Whitefish (30 minutes). A great place to step away from the daily grind.
Had a great time staying in this cabin while visiting glacier national park. Super close to everything we wanted to do on the west side of the park. The cabin was easy to get to and super nice. We would definitely stay here again if we come back!
