Garden Cottage 6 Forget your troubles, come on get happy! This 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath Cottage style townhome is the perfect place to let go and relax. This Cottage has a Master Bedroom and Bathroom on the first floor, conveniently located off the Living Area., as well as two guest rooms on the second floor. The first floor is also home to a laundry closet with Washer and Dryer, as well as a powder room. You enter this home through a bright and open kitchen, equipped with stainless steel appliances, both a standard and a Keurig coffee maker, and a bar top with seating for 3. From the kitchen, you will find a dining area, with seating for 6, and a living area with an oversized couch and TV. Finishing off the first level is a screened-in porch which provides access to the outdoor patio with a gas grill and fire pit. On the second floor, you will find two guest rooms, each with its own private bath. Each room has access to the upper screened porch with outdoor seating, which provides a partial Oceanview. This Cottage includes 3 Smart TVs, 1 Child's bike, beach chairs, 2 fishing rods, boogie boards, and a skim board. In addition, guests have access to The Cottages at Jekyll Island million dollar oceanfront amenities, which include Clubhouse with Billiard Table, Fitness Room, zero entry pool, beach deck, and a community fire pit.

2 Parking Spaces - No trailers of any kind allowed.

BEACH ACCESS AT THE COTTAGES
Overview: The Cottages beach is about 2,000 feet long, featuring a dune area and seawall.
Access Points: There are three dune crossovers to the sandy area, always accessible for recreation. Main access is near the pool and clubhouse.
Tide Information: At high tide, water reaches the seawall, changing every six hours. Check a tide chart to plan your beach time.
Nearby Facilities: Oceanview Beach Park, about 2 miles south past the Holiday Inn, offers all-day ocean access. Explore all Jekyll Island beaches on their website.
Important Note: Storms may affect beach crossover access, and we cannot guarantee beach access at all times.

Lovely Cottage!

We loved this cottage! It was super clean and comfortable. The linens were luxurious, the beds were comfortable and the furniture and appliances were very nice quality! The pool area was fabulous! The clubhouse, the gym and bathrooms were very clean as well! The screened porches were amazing - super large and tons of furniture to accommodate all guests. We would definitely stay here again!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Perfect beach home away from home.

Perfect spot on Jekyll. Short walk to pool and beach. Bike ride to driftwood and more! House was super clean, had everything we needed and comfortable. Loved the upstairs screen porch!

Our stay was amazing! The unit was perfect for our family of 6. If you are looking for a relaxing week at the beach this is for you! The top screened in porch is perfect for reading a book and enjoying the views of the beach! We hope to be back!

Perfect location, plenty of space for 3 couples, beach access. Only thing I would note for others looking to stay is to bring k-cups for Keurig. Hard to find on the island.

Nice House on Jekyll Island

We stayed in the house for four nights in October. The house is well supplied and is very comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the screen porches. It is convenient to the beach access, though, as others have stated, the beach is limited due to the stones stablizing the shoreline. For beach time, we took the short drive to the closest public beach. (As a note, since we don't use Keurigs, we brought our own coffeemaker.)

beach vacation

nice but not for us... 19 steep stairs not KID or old people friendly master bed very uncomfortable no way to wash off feet or beach gear outside no water hose. No regular coffee maker. lots and lots of books all on a low open bookcase, had to move them all my grandson kept getting into them. we have never been to a beach where most of the time there was no beach and so many stairs up and down, no easy way to bring down beach chairs etc. We brought our bikes great island to ride bikes, no easy way to put them in house and rules said cant leave on porch. we were so disappointed.

Great location and property!

We had a great time! I would recommend to management to keep on top of the details - the washing machine door gasket was moldy, the refrigerator filter light was flashing and the HVAC filter was dirty. The house otherwise was clean, well appointed and comfortable.

Very nice home but low very flow shower was a bit disappointing and hot water ran short. Enjoyed easy beach access. Nice neighborhood and modern kitchen.

Good layout, storage. Loved having bath for each bedroom. Would have been nice having tv in all bedrooms. Acoustics in living room and kitchen made it hard to hear tv.

We love the Cottages at Jekyll

We stayed here over Labor Day weekend and really enjoyed our visit. The condos are beautiful and the indoor and outdoor patio and porch spaces are wonderful. The neighborhood pool was convenient and perfect for our 18 month old. The pool area did get a bit crowded, but that's to be expected on such a busy weekend. I wish there was a bit more parking for each condo. There are only two spaces allowed per condo unit (even with 3-bedrooms) and both of our vehicles were quite wide. The condo's beach access was also removed during our stay due to a beach improvement project. We only found out about this a couple of days before, but management did give us a partial refund to compensate for the inconvenience, which was very appreciated.

Wonderful Stay.

Our stay at Cottage 6 could not have been better. The unit was very clean, comfortable and perfect for a reunion of six long time friends. The beds and furniture were comfortable and we loved that each bedroom was an en suite, again great for six women. We do have two suggestions: 1) Provide another set of towels per person so that we could have had a towel hair and one for shower. 2). Provide more hangers. Eight hangers per bedroom was just not enough. Thankfully, the on duty management company employee provided more from her personal supply. We definitely would stay again and highly recommend.

Very nice!!

This is a nice new townhouse located two short blocks from community pool and short walk to the beach. Equipped with tankless hot water heater so you won’t run out of hot water. All amenities that you would need for a nice get away.

The place was very inviting and comfortable. You can see the ocean from the upper floor which was a beautiful surprise. The amenities were well maintained, and the walk to the beach was very short. We will be back again.

We have been to Jekyll Island many times and have really enjoyed our time there. The home at The Cottages at Jekyll Island made the trip even more enjoyable. It was absolutely beautiful and very well maintained. The only slight issue we had was the dishwasher was not functioning properly. Someone came to make the repair on Wednesday, but we were unaware they were coming until that morning. It just so happened someone was there when they arrived. Other than time MINOR issue it was a great stay and we will definitely stay there again.

Top notch place

Jekyll has a lot of pretty tired places. This condo is quite new, roomy and nicely furnished. The highlight to us was the upstairs screened porch. Has one downstairs too, but upstairs can see the ocean over the dunes. Very comfortable, well furnished place. If you want a touch of modern on Jekyll, this is the place for you.

Loved it!!! Absolutely perfect!!!

This rental was clean, spacious, wonderfully outfitted. Kitchen had everything we could ask for (and we did almost all of our meals there!) Beds were comfortable. Towels were soft. The location right by the walkway to the beach was great for nighttime strolls. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone. My family plans on staying here again!
