Breathtaking oceanfront view from the most desirable condo building in the heart of Kailua-Kona Village. Air conditioning new in 2025. This third floor 1 bedroom 2 bath corner unit is beautiful in every detail. Remodeled and well maintained. From the granite counter tops in the kitchen and bathrooms to the beautiful tile flooring to the teak tables and chairs on the lanai, this unit really shines. In both directions there are countless shops, delightful restaurants, bars with live music, a farmers market, historical sites, beaches, and more, all within walking distance of this beautiful condo. From your lanai you can watch tourists walking by as they explore the town, canoe clubs practicing, cruise ships when they are in town, spinner dolphins in the bay many mornings, humpback whales sometimes in the winter, yellow tangs in the water, and athletes competing in the world famous IRONMAN Triathlon in October, all without ever leaving your condo. The common area includes a large, well-maintained swimming pool and barbecue. The kitchen is well stocked. The condo comes with a free assigned parking space.
Please note that because the condo is among restaurants and shops, you will hear pedestrians and vehicles through dinner time. Kailua-Kona is a sleepy village, though, and it usually gets quiet after 9:00 PM on weekdays and 10:00 PM on weekends. With the new air conditioning, you have the option to close the lanai glass sliders to shut out the noise.
Discounts (applied to nightly rate): 10% for 7+ days, 15% for 28+ days, additional 5% for guests who have previously rented from us (send us an inquiry if you are requesting a returning guest discount so that we can prepare you a custom quotation).

The condo was lovely, well stocked with everything anyone could need or use. Very clean. The bed, very comfortable. Plenty of beach towels, coolers, and other equipment. Great location.
This property was everything we could hope for. The view of the ocean is wonderful and there were plenty of beds for our family. The location is close to everything you could need. The hosts communicated clearly for check-in and were helpful throughout our stay. We would definitely stay again!

Very nice, clean condo. Location was perfect for walking to shops, restaurants and a local small beach. Was nice to people watch from the balcony. Great place to stay.
We had a fabulous stay in the Kona Alii condominium in May 2025. The condo is right in the heart of Kona, close to wonderful shops and restaurants. The veranda has an amazing view of the ocean - just across the street! The condo itself is very roomy, clean, and beautifully decorated, with wonderful amenities (the use of beach towels, beach chairs, etc.) We would love to return someday!
This condo was exactly as shown in the pictures! It had everything we needed for a great stay in Kailua Kona. We loved being able to walk to so many restaurants and shops. Having parking included was awesome as well, since we had a rental car for exploring the island. Best part was having coffee on the lanai every morning and watching the cruise ships come in.
Loved the condo and the location. People watching at its finest! My grandson enjoyed coming over and swimming in the nice pool.
I would stay there again
This renovated condo was a joy to stay in. It is well equipped, with beautiful view and nicely decorated. The owners have shown pride of ownership with the beautiful art on the walls and their response to our questions. Hoping to rent again next year.
This unit is amazing! We've stayed in 20 vrbos and this was, by far, the best stocked rental we've ever had. The location is so convenient to restaurants and the pier. The building is very secure. We enjoyed the Smart TV, too, as we could hook into our streaming service. We enjoyed coffee on the lanai every morning. What a view! I'd give this 10 stars if I could.
It was a great location. The place was very clean and nice. The only drawback is the noise outside and having no air conditioning.

We have vacationed on the major islands in Hawaii many times and in 2017 bought this Kona Alii condo as a vacation home.
Why they chose this property
We bought this Kona Alii condo because of the location. You cannot get a better location! Just about everything you need is within walking distance: restaurants, bars with live music, coffee shops (hey, we are from Seattle!), shave ice, shops, farmers market, even beaches. There is a trolley, so you don't need a car unless you want to explore the whole island, which we highly recommend that you do. The Kona Alii has one of the largest swimming pools in Kona.
What makes this property unique
Awesome view in a corner unit on the North end of the building. We are trying to make this one of the best condos in the Kona Alii building, for your enjoyment and for ours.
