If you want peace and solitude with stunning views in a comfy, dog-friendly place of your own Copy Wood Cottage is your ideal location, situated high in the hamlet of Tinkersley above the Derwent Valley, a short drive or walk from Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall and the towns of Bakewell and Matlock. Nestled on the edge of Beeley Moor Copy Wood sits below woodland and is surrounded by fields grazed by sheep. A short walk through the woods brings you either up on to the moor or down to Rowsley.

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
I hope you’ve had a lovely stay at Copy Wood. Just a gentle reminder that check out is 10am tomorrow. If you’ve brought a dog please scour both lawns for waste and clear.
Please could you take your rubbish/separated recycling to the Darley Dale Recycling Centre (DE4 2LF, 2 mins drive, opens 9.30am weekdays, 10am weekends) v close as we don’t get collections.
If you’ve had a fire we’d really appreciate it if you could clear it on departure. Put the keys back in the key box once you’ve locked up. Pls leave a nice review in the guest book and on VRBO thanks!
