Welcome to 18866 Shearwater Drive in Rehoboth Crossing, a recently built townhome with a fantastic location and all the comforts of a modern beach getaway. Beautifully decorated and filled with natural light, this spacious home offers three bedrooms, three full bathrooms, plus a convenient powder room on the main level, and comfortably sleeps eight guests. The open-concept living area features a cozy fireplace, hardwood flooring, a large dining table, and a well-stocked kitchen that any home chef will love. Step out from the living room onto the screened porch for breezy mornings or relaxed evenings. The first level includes a primary bedroom with a king bed, TV, and access to a rear patio. Upstairs on the third level, you'll find two more primary-style sleeping spaces: one with a king bed and private balcony, and another featuring pyramid bunk beds with trundle beds—perfect for kids or extra guests. The community is a quick bike ride to the beach, and public transportation stops right in front of the neighborhood, making it easy to get around without driving. You're also within walking distance of multiple restaurants, including Outback, The Pointe, Crystal Diner, and more, plus the Tanger Outlets are close enough to walk for tax-free shopping. Parking is simple with a private driveway for two cars, and overflow parking is available behind Outback—please do not park on the street. Guests can enjoy the community pool (typically open Memorial Day through Labor Day), a gym in the clubhouse, and direct access to the Junction & Breakwater Trail, offering gorgeous views and miles of biking and walking all the way toward Lewes Beach. Please note that the garage is not available or accessible to guests, linens are not provided but a rental program is available, and this is a no-pets, no-smoking property.

Rehoboth

Lovely home and community pool was enjoyable. The home is close to beach, boardwalk, bike trails, kayaking, tennis, shopping, and restaurants that we were able to enjoy a lot of activities.

We were all thrilled at what a wonderful rental this was. It was clean, spacious. near the pool, and easy accessibility to downtown Rehoboth Beach, the beach, boardwalk and restaurants. We can't wait to come back next year!

We had a wonderful time. The property was in a great location and it was perfect for what we needed. The only thing I wish we had was access to the garage since we rented bikes for the week.

Short Escape

We planned a last minute trip for a short stay at the beach. This place was perfect! We had 4 adults and 3 kids, aged 2-62. The place was very clean and easy to access. Quick ride to the boardwalk and nearby state parks too that we enjoyed. The kitchen was a huge help as we ended up ordering out for our meals and it was nice to have a place large enough that we didn’t feel cramped.

Great stay in a new condo

Overall, this was the perfect condo for our family and friends. The location on route 1 was convenient to both shopping and the beach, and it's in a nice and seemingly new-ish building. The only minor issue is that sometimes at night you can hear the really loud motorcycles going down the highway, and we were worried they would wake up the babies. But all three of them slept very well. It may also be good for the owners to get some privacy curtains for the main floor balcony since you can see your neighbors if they're also out enjoying the evening. Next time we're all going to visit Rehoboth, I hope we can book this place again. Thank you!

Easy access to everything

The property was perfect, the only thing I would recommend is putting in floor mats in the bathroom. I read in a previous review that this was a concern, and the property manager said it would be addressed. Well, it wasn't. I had to get bath mats while there as I have a toddler, and a husband with a terrible back, and could not risk either of them hurting themselves. Other than that, would DEFINITELY stay here again.

Nice unit but some issues

Property was advertised with pool access; the pool was closed when we arrived and we were told that it was closed for the season! The TV in the ground level bedroon did not work despite many attempts to get it connected; it appears that the cable box was not connected and paid for by the owner.

The House

The house was new and very spacious and clean. However, we rented it because it had a pool. Upon check in we found the pool closed due to the Covid. We totally understand that. The problem is we were directed to the HOA whom informed us that the owners were well aware of the pool not opening. We had a 7 and 5 year old that were very disappointed. I feel we should have been informed in advance. The house has a great deal of stairs and also noise carries throughout a lot. Due to the hard wood floors and high ceilings. It was not a homey rental as it was decorated tastefully but lacked the touches of a owner unit. There was no outside hose to clean up after the beach. We keep rentals like our own home and we’re diligent about cleanliness.

Very much enjoyed our stay

The condo was perfect for our family. My husband and I stayed in the upstairs master bedroom while my 3 teenager children shared the other upstairs bedroom. Having a bathroom attached to each bedroom was very convenient. My sister and her 5 year old stayed in the lower level bedroom. With the three levels all of us had the privacy we needed. At various times my other sister and her family came to have breakfast or dinner at the condo and there was more than enough room for all 10 of us to be in the condo. The condo had everything we needed for our stay except that it does not have an iron while it does have an ironing board, there are not bathmats in the bathrooms and the tile floor could be slippery, and the two master bedrooms only had light window coverings so the sun came into the bedrooms very early in the am. It was not a huge issue as we were up early enough to start our day but it maybe a concern for others wishing to sleep in on their vacation. The washer and dryer were great to have in the condo. We used them multiple times during our stay. We utilized the work out facility every day and the pool was perfect for swimming after the beach. The condo is located in a quiet community centrally located to restaurants, stores and the outlets. There is a CVS a few steps from the condo and went there a number of times to get things we had forgotten. It is less than a 15 minute walk to the beach or bring your bikes. Rehoboth is a great little town to bike around. Our condo was a great place during our stay. Check in and out were very easy and the staff at Remax were very friendly. We enjoyed our stay so much I am looking to book this condo again next year for a college girls vacation.

Nice clean place

We had a nice stay at this location. The property was clean and we had no problem picking up keys and finding information. Located right off of Route 1 Coastal Highway, it was a good location to be in, albeit a drive away from the beach. The home looks pretty much as it does in the photos. There are one or two things that confused me. For example, there is one bedroom on the ground floor, which is right next to a garage. I did not realize that this bedroom would be so separated from the others. It was not a big deal, but it might be good if that was made more clear. Another issue is that the "trundle" bed in the kids room (with the bunk beds) was not actually something you could push under the bunk beds - the mattress was too high. So basically, we did not need that bed and had to move it out of the way so that my kid could get to the big bed more easily. Other little things that could have improved the place: clocks, such as alarm clocks! There were none. Not a huge deal, but we ended up buying one at CVS across the street because it bothered one member of our family a lot. Secondly, there were no beach chairs or umbrellas, which seems strange since the whole decor of this place screams "BEACH HOUSE" but none were to be found. It would have been a nice thing to add. Finally- this is a small thing, but the ice maker was my nemesis in this place. If I fiddled with it long enough I could get it to work, but I still don't know how I did that. Instructions for things like this, as well as the TV's, would have really helped. Overall, these are minor complaints and we really did have a great stay.

Pleasant, comfortable & convenient

The property was nice, clean & the pool/club house w/ gym was a nice accommodation. The location was perfect, centrally located to all the attractions. The only mis information on the VRBO site was the property sleeps 8 people, we were there for a bachelorette party & luckily our 8th person backed out as there were only 3 bedrooms, 2 with King size beds & a bunk bed w/ a pull out bed attached so it fit 7 people. The couch was an option but it was leather & would not be comfortable to sleep on. This would be perfect for 2 couples with their children. It was perfect for our 7 adults and a girls getaway vacation.

Great property and location - CLEAN

Great property and location right off Coastal and Rehoboth. We love staying in this neighborhood because the houses are newer and clean. This location was right near the pool which was an added bonus. If I could nitpick, I wish the couches were more comfortable and had more living room seating and the hot water heater had more capacity but otherwise, it was a great stay.

Fine but not spectacular

The property itself was fine. Roomy, pretty good location, nice pool. When we arrived there were several issues like broken lights and slow-draining sinks and the ladder was broken off the bunk beds which was a safety concern for me. To their credit , they sent someone to address most of these concerns for us. However I will say: the dishes in the kitchen were not clean. Several times there was food caked on and I had to scrub a pot before I used it. Yes this is more on previous guests, but still kind of gross. Also, despite the claim in the listing, there is not a DVD player so they really should update that. Overall it was comfortable, the property itself was clean and the management team responsive and helpful.

Nice Week in Delaware

Pros: Great location, home was clean, spacious and supplied with most everything you needed. The pool was beautiful and well taken care of with clean restrooms Cons: We had to go buy pillows for everyone as there were only 3 in entire house. Walls in home could use a good painting as they were quite scuffed up

Plenty of space and clean.

You never know what you're going to get with an end of season rental and this was a good one! This property had lots of space for our family to move around in and it was clean. There were several lights out and when we called the rental office they were very accommodating. We never did quite figure out the ceiling fans with the switches on the wall and the remotes, but the A/C worked fine and we were comfortable. It was a great location for us since we were in town for a wedding in Lewes. We used the walking trail behind the community for walking and running.

Brief Visit

My family enjoyed a brief stay at this property. It presented well and the property is well maintained with exception of a few minor issues that can be overlooked some of which were mentioned in previous reviews. Communication with the management property was easy and they were very friendly which was a plus. My only issue with this property is that the outdoor cushions for the patio furniture were left outside in the rain which meant that my family couldn't enjoy an evening on the wonderful screened in deck the evening of our arrival and the following day, because we had to wait for the cushions to dry. Also, the cushions on the top deck where totally weather damaged. To the property owner and manager, I'd recommend that bringing the cushions indoors at check-out and during rain be added to the check list of things to do by renters. The property is conveniently located and I would consider renting it again primarily because of familiarity.

Amazing place!

Loved this place and it’s location (house is even more beautiful than the pics), close to the Rehoboth downtown and also Lewes beach where we went with the kids. Kids also enjoyed the pool. The house was cleaned well. Easy checking and checkout process. Super friendly staff. We will definitely be back.
