Porta Rossa Modern is a large and welcoming house ideal for a family or a group of friends visiting Florence. The apartment is located in Via Porta Rossa, a stone's throw from Via Tornabuoni, the street of luxury and shopping, in a very beautiful area of the historic center of Florence. This large house, about 100 square meters, consists of a double bedroom, a large and bright living room, kitchen and a complete bathroom with shower.

We absolutely loved staying in this apartment! It had some beautiful features that felt very Italian, but all of the modern amenities needed. The location was absolutely perfect and I loved opening the windows to hear all of the city sounds and the music in the Square nearby. I hope we can stay here again!

What a beautiful location! Every evening you open the windows to hear live street performers with their beautiful violin. The apartment is impeccable - high design with everything you need. You are minutes walk from Ponte Vecchio, the Uffizi, Piazza della Signoria and Palazzo Vecchio. A few minutes further you are at the Duomo. I would highly recommend...like Italy, this place is Molte Bene!

I booked a different property. The address and the size was different. This is where the confusion at check in came up. The property otherwise was in a center, which excellent. The heat was extreme so I believe that’s the reason the air conditioning was not able to cool the apartment. Which was understandable. The refrigerator barely working. The sofa bed is not for kids above 10 years old. Overall we had a good time, these are just some observations.

Easy check-in, good location, comfortable place! Due to building regs, new format adaptors were required to use electrical outlets for toaster, hair dryer, coffee machine, etc, so someone brought those by. The flat has many windows but is surrounded by buildings, so opening the shutters was essential for any light. Could use additional light sources in the bedroom and library/dining area, as it was dark.
