We were a group of 4 friends who met at University (a long time ago!).We’re spread across the country so this location just off the M40 was ideal. The facilities are great. Where else can you find the exclusive use of a tennis court, swimming pool and a snooker table?! The owner’s communication before and during our stay were first class. Check-in was very easy.No issues at all and you can safely ignore other reviews about the motorhomes causing parking problems -they are blocked parked down the side of the house and off the road. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend!
Stayed at the property for a couple of nights for a family wedding. Perfect for our needs and communication was fantastic. Will definitely return if I am in the area. Thank you
Great pool, lovely accommodation with good amenities. Banbury was lovely, especially the sweet n sticky chicken wings at The Auctioneer. The beds were very hard sadly.Rather a lot of cobwebs in the rooms. The
Lovely accommodation with excellent leisure facilities. Having exclusive use of the Pool was great. Full size snooker table was a novelty. Use of the piano was a real bonus. Owner was extremely accommodating. Arriving at the property was a little daunting as the owner stores his excess stock of motor homes on site. It makes for a very busy driveway! Only very slight niggle….. Wish the television had worked properly. Would certainly recommend though

Liked: Communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
Some aspects disappointing
We enjoyed using the facilities at the property However we were disappointed with the lack of privacy as we were surrounded by approximately 20 motorhomes/cars making parking our car tricky and people constantly being on site (walking past our bedroom windows) and blocking the driveway - this was not shown in any advertising photographs The overall cleanliness was poor including a very dirty frying pan & chopping board (we didn't use them)very thick dirt and dust on pipework and chairs. We had to ask for extra cleaning around the pool areaIt's a nice property in a lovely area but could do with some TLC/updating Peter, the owner, was very responsive and helpful
Fantastic stay the pool was a great to swim in warm everything you would need for a short or long stay lovely meet and greet from Pete who was very nice highly recommend this property
We have had such a lovely few days. The house was perfect for us; plenty of space indoors and in the garden. We loved the pool and the tennis court. Really well located. We couldn’t have asked for better.
A stayed 2 nights for husband birthday. The place is beautiful, everything you need in a little break.
The pool was a hit along with the snooker table and to top it off the weather was perfect
Great place to stay too relax and unwind with the family. Easy to get to off the motorway. Great facilities, lovely surroundings. The private pool is great! Definitely would recommend it
3 friends and I stayed at Peter’s property for 2 nights in July 2025 in order to attend race day of the F1 British Grand Prix at Silverstone. The property was exactly as listed and we were able to make good use of the facilities there. We didn’t need to communicate with Peter before or during our stay but were provided with details of how to do so should we need to. Also Alexander lives next door who we were told would be happy to help us too. We had a great weekend and were really happy with our accommodation.A couple of things about the property we weren’t sure of until arrival (but didn’t seem important enough to ask in advance!) - there was a hand towel, bath towel and pool towel left for each guest (thank you!). The BBQ is gas so no need for charcoal. Cleaning supplies for kitchen & bathroom (incl dishwasher tablets & washing machine pods) were provided. There was also tea & coffee. There were tennis rackets & balls too! There were a fair few cobwebs / spiders in the property. I found 3 drowned spiders in the pool. The BBQ had not been cleaned after last use.To get to Silverstone (in case any others are considering the same itinerary) we uber’d to Banbury train station (local taxis were booked up - should’ve thought of that!) and had pre-booked the Silverstone shuttle bus. We stayed there until the end of the headliner set then shuttle bus’d & got a taxi from the station’s taxi rank. Worked well for us, we missed most of the traffic and I would recommend.
Well what an amazing stay!! Everything was absolutely perfect. I can’t fault any of it. Already looking to book to come back again soon! Peter wasn’t there however was always very responsive to messages, an absolute great host with a beautiful house! Thank you again for a perfect stay.
Second time of staying here. Everything you could need is provided. Snooker room, tennis courts and swimming pool, there's no need to leave the house. Lovely break.
Property had everything you needed. Excellent pool (especially generously warm water temperature). Good to have full-size snooker table, plus tennis court.
We had lovely stay and the accommodation and the facilities were beyond our expectations.
Peter wasn’t there to great us but check in was straightforward and he popped in to say hello later that day.
Nothing too much trouble.
Accomodation spacious and we generally felt like we were on top of each other. Made good use of the swimming pool, snooker table, tennis court and badminton game.
Definitely keeping it on our list.
Lovely place for peaceful get away, kids could run around garden playing tennis, badminton (equipment all there) and then pool time.
We had great fun splashing around in our own private swimming pool.
Kitchen well equipped and smart tv so everyone entertained after swimming.
Host was great, nice welcome then left us to it, we had a great time.
Lovely property, as described. The pool was used daily, the piano enjoyed, and it was a peaceful and pleasant spot to stay. Well placed to visit all manner of pretty, small towns, or even to go into Oxford, Birmingham or a day trip to London. Thanks!
Friendly and welcoming stay in a place which met all our expectations. Tennis, badminton and of course swimming. Exclusively ours from 8am til 20pm. Us and the three boys had so much fun! Shops and a great park in Banbury with a Coop 5 minutes away. Thank you Peter.
The purpose of our stay was for my elderly parents to have a small break and I chose this property as being suitable for their needs. Our expectations were definitely fulfilled.
It is beautiful property in a pretty setting. Highlights for us was that being all on one level was easy for my elderly parents. Access to the pool was easy, the pool was lovely and warm and nice to have to ourselves. The full size snooker table was an added bonus and the snooker player amongst us made full use of it!
The outdoor seating was very comfortable, just a pity the weather was quite warm enough to take full advantage.
The kitchen is well equipped if you want to cook but we found a couple of pubs locally with good food and atmosphere and people were very friendly.
An excellent base for exploring the area or for just some R & R and we would definitely return again.
