Good location for exploring the Cotswolds, lovely to see the horses going in and out of their stables and the hot tub was a big hit with the children. Unfortunately the hot Raeburn being on in a heatwave was uncomfortable but kitchen was well equipped. The host was kind and accommodating and the cottage had character, if a little tired
The cottage was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The hot tub worked as expected and was in a patch of the garden not overlooked by much allowing privacy which was nice. Our dog seemed to enjoy the stay too and he was reluctant to get in the car when it was time to leave. All in all, a nice stay for a relaxing weekend.
We had a lovely stay. The hot tub was heated for our arrival and the check in process was easy. There was enough parking for 3 cars so that was handy. The kitchen is well equiped and the drinks and biscuits were a nice touch after a long drive. There were also plenty of towels provided. Only complaint would be that there were quite a few dog poos on the gravel outside the front of the property.
A wonderful couple of nights in a lovely cottage which is clean, well looked after, and has everything you need. Comfortable inside, and the hot tub outside was a hit with both us and our children! Lovely walks nearby - we walked over the fields to Hook Norton for drinks and lunch at the brewery, but even close to home there are horses and views all around. Would have love to have stayed longer
The host was very accommodating. The cottage was situated in a nice area within the farm, with great walks for our dog. Relaxing in the hot tub was the perfect end to the evening.
Riding stables not invasive and lovely to watch the horses go by. Fabulous walks on site and to local villages - dogs thoroughly enjoyed it. Brilliant to have the hot tub after hours of walking. Kitchen could do with some more crockery (dinner bowls) and perhaps some basics, ie salt, pepper, sugar. Outside could do with a tidy up (leaves swept and bird poop washed away). Had a thoroughly lovely time for our weekend away and would stay again
Warm and welcoming with a very easy check in. Very comfortable cottage in a great location. The hot tub was a very welcome feature after our drive! Will definitely return next time we are back in the Cotswolds.
Very easy to find, parking is nice and safe,Great welcome pack on arrival, milk, orange juice, tea and coffee and more. Lovely property, not really any bad points if I was being picky may need a little bit of TLC in the future, but nothing that would put me off staying again
What a lovely place to stay! Watching the horses coming and going a bonus. Such a beautiful quirky cottage. Clean, comfy and spacious for a couple and our two dogs. The hot tub was a lovely treat after long dog walks.. Hook Norton and Swalcliffe visits a must. Pubs are so lovely and dog friendly. The land around the riding school great for the dogs too. Caroline the host very friendly a lovely lady.
A lovely little building with added extra of hot tub which we loved.
Tricky to cook if you haven't used a rayburn before and perhaps a little dated in parts but overall we had a great stay and visited a few beautiful places.
We were very impressed by the cottage, the place was cosy, the whole look of the inside was amazing. Hot tub was great we had a relaxing time, and it was a nice surprise that Caroline had added a christmas tree for us, my son had his 21st with us and told me we made memories here qnd that's what I wanted for my family.
Hot tub was great, close to house so not too chilly getting to it even at the start of April!Glassed conservatory very nice for sitting in and has efficient fire in so nice and warm.Would be nice if the website made clearer that both bedrooms and bathroom are all on the ground floor ( not up spiral stair!).Would love to have some history of the building - some of the old beams look really old.I find it off putting that final instructions for key access etc are only sent a couple of days before arrival ( other companies I've booked with send out a week before). This makes me feel quite unsure as to whether the booking is ok or not. I presume this is a VRBO thing ( I haven't booked with you before)

Hi Rosemary,
I'm glad you enjoyed your stay in the cottage. We normally send out instructions to get to the cottage at the time of booking or in plenty of time. Unfortunately yours got forgotten. Our error!

Its the first time I've ever been away from home and felt so at home. Fantastic break & just what the doctor ordered.
You have a wonderful, Quirky cottage and we will be back.
Thank you
Jane
The cottage was great! Overall, the place was very thoughtfully furnished, and we really enjoyed our stay. We did find a number of dishes in the cabinets that hadn't been cleaned well, and we were disappointed the oven couldn't be turned up to a medium or high cooking temperature, but those were minor issues.
