After gaining entry to the property, we had a quick look around and my wife said "I could live here". The view from the upper floor was good (pity we could not see the castle). General cleanliness (below the average persons eye level) was good. The place is well equipped, just not enough instructions on how to use oven etc.Personal observations:- yes I saw all the things that other people have mentioned (was dis-appointed that these had been acknowledged but not actioned). The bed linen was crisp and white (note to cleaner, if you are going to use pillow cases with holes in them, put the hole to the back) First impressions!.Someone mentioned that the bathroom extractor didn't work (it was turned off outside the bathroom), but being above average height myself, I noticed that the extractor was in need of a clean (could potentially be a fire hazard). Also run a feather duster over the tops of the doorframes. The TV requires attention (may be just batteries in the remote), some of the options didn't work, think the TV also requires re-tuning, Also from a personal point of view, would have preferred a King sized bed, but that is just a down side of being above average in height myself.All the above and previous items requiring attention, would take minimal action, and would have raised my rating to excellent. We would go back.Observations:Leave the blue folder out where it can easily be foundTell people about the short cut to the beach (I found it on our last day).
