For us this was a slice of heaven, we loved the remoteness of this cottage but it may not suit everyone. If you want a quiet getaway, this is the place! Fantastic comfortable farm cottage. The views across the valley and the night sky are spectacular. The welcome back included a bottle of wine and a bag of dog treats. Our dog spent hours watching (window shopping?!) the Runner Ducks marching past, Guinea Fowl and the ducks in the pond from the secure garden. You can walk dogs through the fields from the cottage and there are lots of other walks a short drive away - for example the pretty strenuous forest walks around Talley. The local amenities at Llandeilo are about 15 mins drive away. The Owner was friendly, helpful and made some great recommendations for pubs and grub nearby. Strongly recommended - we won't hesitate to come again.
