Relaxing stay

Calm & relaxing stay, with amazing sea views from the terrace in beautiful peaceful surroundings. The property is spotlessly clean & has everything you might need during your stay. Teresa was very helpful & even offered fresh produce from her vegetable garden. Enjoyed visiting local villages, beaches & nearby restaurants.

A beautiful and peaceful idyll, in a great location

We had a wonderful week at the house and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others. The house is spacious, impeccably clean and set across a beautiful veranda. The views make it especially special with amazing sunsets and stargazing – you are truly away from it all. The owners were so welcoming and kind with their gifts of local delicacies which we enjoyed very much. The house is a short drive from a sweet mountaintop village with shops, Spiaggia Poglina is ten minutes drive or head south or north to Bosa or Alghero. Thank you Teresa and Leonardo!

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful property over Easter with sunshine every day. The surroundings are picturesque and so peaceful with amazing sea views and sunsets. The three docile donkeys add a touch of character and humour. The property was spotlessly clean, beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. The air conditioning units worked well for heating in the chillier Spring evenings. Hot water was always available on demand for showers or washing up. The property is situated in the hills between Alghero and Bosa, both fascintating to explore. We particularly enjoyed the Good Friday Easter parade in Bosa. The coastline in the area is spectacular and there is a sandy beach about 10 minutes drive from the property. There are many other beautiful coves and beaches in the area. Our hosts Leonardo and Teresa were incredibly helpful from the beginning but were so kind when we ran into a problem with our car keys. They responded immediately to our phone call and gave up their evening to take us to Alghero to search for them. We are so grateful for their generosity. It was great to have a go at practising our Italian and Teresa and Leonardo enjoyed chatting in a mixture of English and Italian. We unreservedly recommend this property. We have visited Italy many times but this was our first time in Sardinia. We were struck by the friendliness of the people and the beauty of their special island.

Thank you so much for your wonderful and thoughtful review. It truly means a lot to us that you chose our property for your Easter stay and that you enjoyed the peaceful surroundings, the sea views, and the beautiful sunsets. We’re especially happy that you appreciated the small details, from the comfort of the house to the presence of our three gentle donkeys, who always bring a smile to our guests. April is indeed a lovely time to visit, with nature in bloom and the authentic atmosphere of the local traditions, like the Good Friday procession in Bosa, Villanova Monteleone or Alghero. It was also a real pleasure meeting you and spending time chatting together in a mix of English and Italian — we enjoyed it very much. We’re glad we could help when you had the issue with the car keys; it was only natural for us, and we were happy everything turned out well. Thank you again for your kind words about Sardinia and its people. We’re delighted that your first visit to the island left such a positive impression. You will always be very welcome here, and we hope to see you again in the future!

House with spectacular view.

Loved everything about PalaEntóne, we stayed in Lantana and found it to be perfect for us. The house is comfortable, well- equipped and clean. We always choose our holiday homes by the view and this certainly has a view - we spent every evening watching fantastic sunsets over the sea drinking the local beer and wine. Teresa and Leonardo were most hospitable, they gave us gifts of local produce on our arrival and always made sure that everything was ok . We have visited the area before so knew our way around but this time we drove inland and enjoyed the dramatic scenery. We visited Bosa in the rain - couldn't find a table for lunch and slippy cobbles underfoot. Go on a sunny day. Alghero is also a lovely town to wander around and get a meal. The local beach was excellent for us, not a lot of sand and big waves but much quieter than any other that we had visited. We are already missing the peace and quiet of PalaEntóne and will definitely return when we visit Sardinia again.
