About this property

Central, one-bedroom duplex near the sea. Free Wi-Fi

Traditional duplex villa, just 100 steps from the sea, in the heart of the city, in the old town.
Ground floor in open space, with living room, kitchen and bathroom. With internet available, WiFi, (Free).
The first floor has a small hall with a table / desk with hinged chair. Large bathroom with shower tray. The bedroom with double bed has a large wardrobe and window with mosquito net, electric shutter. The hall has a velvet window with electric control, which allows ventilation and is equipped with a blackout curtain.
The kitchen is equipped with an oven, induction hob, microwave, washing machine and dryer, fridge, toaster and 100 L water heater. Nespresso capsule espresso machine. Modern and quiet air conditioning unit. It was built again based on an old structure of old walls.
It is located 100 m from the garden by the Ria Formosa where boats for the islands and boat tours are taken.
A 5-star hotel is located about 300 m to the west where you can enjoy spa and gym, heated outdoor pool, as well as all the services associated with a unit of this type namely gastronomy and entertainment. Sleeps two adults. NO PETS ALLOWED.

Great location with easy access to town and islands.

Communication was excellent and the location was very convenient. Very cute apartment with spiral staircase to access the bedroom and main bathroom. There is also a "powder room" (toilet only) on the main floor.We very much enjoyed being able to access the coastal island beaches via the nearby (and very reasonably priced) ferries. The foor markets are amazing. All of these things are a very short walk from the apartment.

Great location to explore the area

This is a very cute, clean place a few minutes away from the harbor and market. Ideal for 1 or 2 people, the place has everything needed. It's centrally located in the historic center, yet very quiet at night. We loved having Rolladen shutters!!! Marta is very responsive and provided us with ideas and maps to explore the area. Parking can be tricky, but we have found a place within a few minutes walk every day. We'd definitely recommend staying at this vacation rental!

We enjoyed a wonderful stay in Olhão and these accommodations played a big part. Right in the midst of the Fisherman's Village area, it put us near so much of what the town has to offer, along with the area's authentic charm. The accommodations are just as advertised and pictured, cozy and reasonably priced for one or two. Marta got us off to a great start by being flexible and so helpful with our arrival. She is friendly and a pleasure to talk with. There are just a few small matters that could use improvements. We weren't there to watch TV so it didn't matter, but just using the power buttons on the different remotes didn't turn them on, so if they were working, they could use some simple directions. Likewise, the washer/dryer, which was great to have and which we were able to work, but it was a guessing game even with the complicated manufacturer's booklet. Finally, even for our brief 5-night stay, we could have used more toilet paper and another set of towels. Nonetheless, our overall experience was excellent.

my 2 month stay in Portugal

First off, my host/manager was fantastic. Whenever we needed assistance, she was there no matter the time. She gave us recommendations for restaurants. grocery stores and sightseeing. I had an issue with the neighborhood. It was old and dirty. Several times I had to clean dog feces off of my shoes. Parking was always an adventure I usually had to park 3 or more blocks away. This made carrying groceries to the apartment difficult. But again, I truly enjoyed my stay and Marta (the manager) was wonderful.

La villa duplex est très bien positionnée , à deux pas du marché d Olhao et de l embarcadère pour visiter la ria et ses îles. Elle est très bien entretenue et très bien équipée,sa literie est excellente .Un petit rafraîchissement de la douche serait parfait , et malgré une climatisation à l étage, une modification lui permettrait de refroidir la chambre ainsi que le rdv qui reste très chaud. Par contre, un point à rectifier sur la présentation, la piscine appartient à l hôtel Réal Marina prestation payante , le jardin est public. Gros bémol,c est la place de parking au alentours, pas facile de se garer gratuitement. Marta , notre hôte est très agréable et réactive à nos demandes . Pour un couple , cette villa est malgré tout très bien .

Location idéalement située et fonctionnelle

Un hébergement propre, fonctionnel et pratique, bien situé car proche des commerces et surtout du formidable marché. Les plages sont proches également. Nous y avons passé une excellente semaine, c'est un bon point de départ pour découvrir la région.

Angenehmer Aufenthalt

Die Ferienwohnung befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Markt von Olhao. Der hat sehr viel zu bieten und da die Wohnung auch sehr gut mit Küchenutensilien (und allem was man sonst braucht) ausgestattet ist, kann man die feinen Lebensmittel auch gut zubereiten. Martha ist eine zuvorkommende Gastgeberin. Für Menschen mit eingeschränkter Beweglichkeit ist die Wohnung nur bedingt zu empfehlen, da es auf dem Weg zum Schlafraum im ersten Stock eine enge Wendeltreppe zu passieren gilt. Zum Sonnen gehen Sie an die Strandpromenade oder auf die Inseln. Für uns hat alles gut gepasst.

This tiny apartment is very cosy with fully equipment. Quiet and peacefull in the old town with Portugees neighbours. Close to the markethall and ferrys. We have had a wonderfull time, although we missed the sun a bit inside. Marijke.
