Are you ready to fully unplug, relax and reset, surrounded by forest and nature?

For crystal clear, starry night skies; peaceful and deep nights’ sleep and awakening to absolute tranquillity, with bird song and golden sunlight greeting you through the trees?

Welcome to our peaceful Eco-Stay in Osmington: the Meeting House – the Earth-Home at our nature and healing sanctuary, Shambala Margaret River.

At Shambala it is our mission to inspire and guide our fellow humans to cultivate inner harmony and wholeness within and reconnect with our own individual nature, passion, power and purpose, by connecting with and learning from the nature around us – and spark a revolution of true thriving.
As such, we hold retreats and immersions on our land, online programs and mentorships, and also invite you to just come and stay with your family, friends or team.

Shambala is nestled on 118 acres of natural bush, forest and field, adjacent to stunning state forest and located 18 minutes northeast of Margaret River. This beautiful farm is set in some of the best vineyards in the world and surrounded by natural Australian bush with wildflowers and many varieties of Australian birds, holding you in absolute tranquillity while only being a stone's throw away from the Southwests most stunning locations, coastlines and locales.

Experience the peaceful serenity of this incredible slice of paradise in our iconic octagon-shaped rammed-earth "den" that is the Meeting House: a mindfully and sustainably architectured, open-plan, solar-passive eco home, designed to bring people together, and home to themselves, inspire presence and facilitate deep rest and restoration, set in nature.
You have direct access to the adjacent state forest and its beautiful tracks via our back gate and Canebrake Pool is only 4kms down the road.

ABOUT THE MEETING HOUSE

(Please note: This add + displayed pricing caters for 6 people only. Extra people up to 12ppl total incur an extra pp. fee.)

The dwelling is a beautifully purpose-built and sustainably architecture octagon-shaped limestone sanctuary, inspired by the Mediterranean.
It is solar passive and supplied by rainwater only, north-facing with polished concrete floors that keep it nice and cool in summer and store the warmth in winter, also featuring a central fireplace.
It’s hardwood features are derived from local marri timbers and bush poles harvested and milled directly from the land itself.
The meeting house features an established library with hundreds of books, plenty of cozy nooks and overlooks the 35m lavender labyrinth which offers itself up for meditative journeys and mindful wanders along its path.
The outside area features a outdoor dining table setting as well as a woodfired pizza oven (operate outside of bushfire season only!)

As a self-catering house, you'll find everything you need for a perfect stay:
The kitchen has a fridge, a hob, an oven, a stove top kettle, a freezer, a large hot water urn (10 ltr) and hot/cold filtered rainwater tap.
The mezzanine features four twin sleeping alcoves (two alcoves with two single beds, two with one single and one double in each) and two single alcoves (one single bed per alcove), all divided by sliding timber walls.
Organic cotton bed linen and towels are all included to make your stay more enjoyable.
There are 2 bathrooms: The first bathroom (downstairs, accessible from deck) has a toilet and sink and a walk-in shower.
The upstairs bathroom contains the same.

IMPORTANT – We are for the nature lovers:
SUSTAINABILITY

At Shambala, we are operating on permaculture & Ayurvedic principles and this land has been chemical free for over 35 years (of known ownership history, likely longer!)
Since it is our mission is to inspire eco-centric, natural living and harmony with nature by reducing our footprint, we encourage our guests to do the same and have facilities and procedures in place that support and inspire this.

We are supplied by precious-and-limited rainwater and reuse greywater from the showers and sinks in our garden beds – we hence supply natural soap at every sink and natural body wash, conditioner and shampoo in each bathroom; there is natural dishwash liquid & dishwasher powder and cleaning products available. We ask you to please refrain from bringing and using conventional/chemical personal care and cleaning products.
To further reduce our water use, we have two funky, clean and functional composting toilets custom-built from recycled, natural materials that we love you to use.
Being mindful of minimizing waste and proper waste management, honouring our planet, we encourage you separate your rubbish, recyclables and pop food scraps into the compost to become nourishment for plants on the land.

We are always more than happy to assist, have a chat and help you learn more. :)

THIS ADD CATERS FOR 6 PPL ONLY.
However, the Meeting House contains 12 beds and our venue also caters for private and corporate retreats alike – due to fees, we ask you to inquire with us directly for larger group bookings, hiring our entire retreat venue including the yoga shala or arranging corporate team or other bespoke retreat experiences.
