Incredible Villa with stunning views

We had a great stay, everything needed was provided and the view is breathtaking.

This property was a gem in the hills of Arco da Calheta. The check-in process was very smooth as we just had to call the property manager when we arrived at the airport and arrange a time to meet at the property. Ana, the property manager, was very informative and easily the most responsive manager we have every had the pleasure of dealing with. We have stayed at dozens of rental properties over the years. The house was very clean, the rooms exactly as described in the listing, and the kitchen as very well stocked. The bathrooms were very clean and all appliances were well maintained and new. The pool was very nice and was heated to a very comfortable temperature. The property is up in the hillside and had a excellent view of the area.The directions on how to get to the property were excellent as there are one way streets involved the closer you get to the property.The only issue we could even think of is the neighbouring property (right behind the house) had 2 roosters that constantly crowed away from early in the morning. The one bedroom had a bathroom window within a couple feet of their pen. So, bring earplugs if you want to sleep past 5 AM. The rental property obviously has no control over these fellas as its a neighbour's property.

Mooi huis met zwembad

Mooi groot huis, wat sober ingericht. Alle voorzieningen aanwezig. Klein zwembad, optioneel te verwarmen. Ligging in de heuvels van Arco de Calheta met fraai uitzicht. Alleen blijkt dat het merendeel van de activiteiten toch in het achterland van Funchal is. Daardoor helaas toch erg vaak richting het oosten van eiland moeten rijden.
