We had a wonderful stay at this lovely apartment in Madeira. Our host, Fatima, was fantastic — she was very communicative, greeted us warmly upon arrival, and gave us a quick tour of the space while answering all our questions. Her thoughtful touches, like a fruit basket, cookies, and Nespresso pods, made us feel truly welcomed.The apartment itself is spacious and well-equipped, featuring two comfortable bedrooms, two bathrooms, a cozy living room, a fully stocked kitchen, and a beautiful wrap-around deck where we enjoyed relaxing moments. The location is excellent — situated in a nice area near the hotel district, close to great restaurants, the Pingo Doce grocery store (which we visited daily), the promenade, and the beach, all within about a 5-20-minute walk.The neighborhood offers many amenities within walking distance, although it is quite hilly to get back to the apartment. Going down was easy, but coming back up from our daily explorations was sometimes a bit challenging after full days of sightseeing. The apartment includes a parking spot, which was a great bonus, although we didn't rent a car. We also appreciated that it’s about a 15-20 minute Bolt ride or a 45-minute walk to the center of Funchal. The building has an elevator, adding to the convenience.Overall, this was a fantastic place to stay, and we highly recommend it for anyone visiting Madeira.
