Beautiful, perfectly located

We stayed for a long weekend. Warm & friendly greeting by the owner & her family. Cottage is ideally located in the centre of Bourton on the water, with public transport on the doorstep. Spacious cottage, Immaculately clean, beautiful furnishings, lovely hot showers. Added bonus of a family taxi service provided by Seb who took us to The Farmers Dog. Thankyou for an enjoyable weekend.

Cottage was perfect, great setup and great location. Very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend if boating Bourton on the Water or the Cotswolds in general.

Excellent cottage and location for visiting the cotswolds

Joe and Sheena are excellent hosts they are very helpful but unobtrusive. The accommodation could be given a score of 5 star plus, it is very spacious plenty of room for 4 people. It is also well equipped and the kitchen has adequate utensils. You couldn't ask for a better location as the town is only a few steps away and the cottage has the added bonus of off road parking. There are plenty of national trust places to visit this time we visited Hidcote Gardens grade 1 listed. We visited Roman Villa and found this very interesting. Cotswold Wildlife Park is a full day out and accessible as its very flat. Thank you Joe and Sheena we would have no hesitation in staying in Augusta Cottage again, hopefully soon.

Great stay

Absolutely amazing location, easy to get back to for small breaks with a nice private parking spot right in front. Really clean and cosy cottage, comfy furniture and beds. Shower is a bit dribbly but otherwise spacious and heats up fast. Would defo stay again.

Wonderful stay at Augusta Cottage.No complaints at all, Would recommend.to anyone who needs piece and quiet.Only 50 yards from all of the shop and eateries.Would highly recommend the Italian restaurant alongside of the river! Thankyou.

A wonderful stay

Celebrating my 70th Birthday in the UK

Sheen and Joe met us upon our arrival and were very pleasant and welcoming. They made themselves available to us if we needed them. The cottage was spacious, comfortable and perfect. I would recommend it and would stay there again in a heart beat.

Friends 50th get together!

What a fabulous property - clean, easy to find and fully equipped! Hosts were lovely and very helpful. Very local for amenities and bourton in the water is a lively town! Would definitely recommend, lots of entertaining space inside lounge and dining room and outside too

Lovely place to stay

The lovely cottage was in an ideal location for walking without moving the 2 cars all week., we loved it. The cottage was very clean, comfortable and quiet. We met Joe who was very welcoming. We really enjoyed discovering Bourton-on-the-Water and the surrounding area. A more spacious freezer would have been appreciated, due to dietary needs we tend to eat in more.

Christmas Visit

Fabulous cottage so cosy and welcoming and it had been decorated for Christmas which was a lovely touch. The location is brilliant with a 1 minute walk to the shops , bars and restaurants. Thoroughly enjoyed will definitely be back. There is a Bed n Breakfast next door which is the same owners but you wouldn't know as the cottage is private. All round lovely visit to a beautiful part of the country.
