This superb cottage is nestled in the charming holiday village of Hopton-on-Sea, a short walk from the beach and surrounded by plenty of village amenities.

The cottage was built mid 1800’s, formerly a farmers’ cottage, now refurbished to offer a well-equipped and beautifully presented to delight discerning guests. The comfy sofas and electric wood burner in the living room are perfect for stay-in cosy nights on any cooler evening. For guests wishing to avoid cooking, within walking distance are two pubs, both serving good food, a Chinese takeaway, fish and chip shop, small arcade, and a well-stocked village store. To the rear is a private enclosed garden with BBQ and seating terraces, perfect for dogs to roam freely and safely. A winding path leads you through flanked borders and connecting the two ponds is a gracefully arched bridge. Whether you’re enjoying a quiet moment alone or sharing laughter and conversation with loved ones, this secluded garden is a sanctuary of peace and tranquillity. The entrance porch with seating pew is a great sunny spot to sit and ponder. Spiral stairs lead up to two wonderful double bedrooms, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

From here you are perfectly located for exploring all the delights of the Norfolk and Suffolk coastlines; having plenty of attractions to suit all ages. Within a 10 minutes’ drive are the traditional and popular seaside resorts of Great Yarmouth and Gorleston on Sea. Excellent walking can be enjoyed from doorstep having miles of trails and footpaths to explore. Every January, the best indoor bowlers converge for hosting of the World Indoor Bowls Championships.
