Thank you for taking the time to leave such a lovely review. We're delighted to hear that you, and your bouncy dog, enjoyed your stay at Lydia's River Cottage. I bet your pup loved the enclosed garden to burn off some of that energy![Emoji Removed] The old railway line is a great accessible walk and a particular favourite with many of our guests so having it so close to Lydia's cottage is a massive plus. Thank you for highlighting your issues with the sofa, we really value this feedback and will certainly look into it and discuss it with the owner to see what improvements can be made. It's wonderful to hear you enjoyed exploring Keswick too. It's often regarded as one of the most dog-friendly towns in the UK, so it's always lovely when our four-legged visitors feel just as welcome as their owners! We hope to welcome you all back, paws and all, for another stay soon. [Emoji Removed]

Hi there! Thank you so much for your lovely review. We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed the space both inside and out, and that the property stayed nice and cool in the recent warm weather — always a bonus. It’s great to know you found everything easy to access, with spacious rooms and a comfortable bed. Thank you as well for mentioning the dust under the bed. While we’re pleased it didn’t significantly impact your stay, this isn’t the standard we aim for, and we’ll pass this on to our housekeeping team to ensure it’s picked up moving forward. We’re so pleased you had such an enjoyable stay overall and would happily return — we’d be absolutely delighted to welcome you back again in the future. Best wishes, Keswick Cottages

Hi Jo, Thank you for your review. Lydia's location, next to the river is perfect for watching the wildlife from the patio when the weather allows. There is a pub across road serving food which is handy for those nights when you just don't fancy cooking. It is only a short walk into town but there is also a bus stop right outside. we hope you had a great stay and we hope we can welcome you back again in the future. Best wishes, Keswick Cottages.
