This large villa with private pool is set on a small exclusive hillside development just outside San Miguel de Salinas village with its selection of restaurants. It is surrounded by Almond and Citrus Groves and has award winning golf clubs nearby. It is a15 mins drive from Campoamor and Mil Palmeros beaches, 30 mins to Mar Menor, the famous 42km promenades lagoon with its beautiful sand and famous mud baths. La Zenia Boulevard is 15 mins drive and has a wide selection of shops. Campoamor, Las Ramblas, La Finca and Mar Menor golf courses nearby. Murcia Airport is 45 mins by car and Alicante Airport 55 mins away.

Villa was just what we wanted for a quiet, peaceful 2 week holiday. Spacious and clean with plenty of room outside. Bedrooms very comfortable. Kitchen had everything you need to eat indoors. Check in / out was excellent, no wating around.Will definitely bo looking at staying again.

Lovely stay

We had a lovely stay here, villa was very private and had everything you could need for a family. We had a car so it meant getting about was no problem and we were close enough to everywhere we needed to go. Property was maintained while there and host kept in contact for any queries we had.

A great 12 nights was spent here with 4x 13-17yr old kids. The pool was good and outside area plentiful. Splendid time.General - this really feels like 2 properties (which I think it once was) the top floor which is a separate flat Inc the main bedroom, the main floor which is the living area and the basement/garage which has 3 bedrooms and a bathroom. The basement feels like a bit of an afterthought with one of the rooms and the bathroom being across the garage past the owners car. It was a bit weird especially since all the rooms on the floor had very small windows….. but they were cool. I think ‘luxury’ is a bit of a stretch, but it is nice albeit a little dated and the layout a smidge confusing. Pros - pool area, eating area (the owners really should have a picture showing the sun shade over creating a big eating area outside the kitchen), neighbours were friendly, access via key safe at 1am worked perfectly, sitting room with large TV and full cable / smart tv access, communication with the owner and the local agent was faultless and comforting to know they were real people. Crazy golf in Villamartin. Cons - this might sound odd but when we arrived everything including the sun loungers and bbq were put away, whilst clean and tidy it did mean we needed to hunt around to find things. There were only 4 loungers for a potential 6 people, I was relegated to a plastic chair by the kids! WiFi only worked on the main floor. Avoid tolls for the 200m stretch AP7
