The apartment was just as pictured. It was spotless and had everthing we needed. The spot and veiw were perfect. It was very close walking distance to all attractions. There was a fabulous restaurant just below the apartment. Our only concern was the bed was very firm, and I like a firm bed. Even with this concern, we would stay here again.

Lovely appartment. Well appointed, spacious and clean. Perfect location in the old town with a sea view from yhe balcony, and very close to a wide choice of restaurants and bars. Only minor area for improvement was the lack of washing up liquid and shower gel on arrival, which necessitated a trip to the supermarket before umeinding agter the journey.

Excellent location, with sunny balcony and views into the castle. Porto Santa Maria has a live easy listening music each night in the bar. 5 minutes level walk into town centre. Bins and washing machine are in a cupboard along within diagram showing where the rubbish goes which is a couple of hundred metres away.

Location was PERFECT. So easy to explore Funchal. Car park was easy to find. Enter/Exit/parking all easy. Car allowed us to explore beyond Funchal. Apartment was clean and comfortable. Hosts responded quickly to questions. They resolved 1 small issue (no shelf in shower) promptly. Washer worked well. Kitchen has limited cooking supplies. But there is great, reasonable food just steps away. HIGHLY recommend restaurant on 1st floor. (Just under apartment). DON’T recommend Breakfast in a Box. (Advert in apartment) We ordered. 90 min after delivery window still had no food. Called. They couldn’t tell us when food would arrive. They offered refund. Ok, sounds good. Week later still no refund. Would definitely stay here again.

Rampa do Forte

Trivelig leilighet med veldig fin beliggenhet i gamlebyen. Vi har hatt to fine uker her. Det var rent og pent her og etter en uke kom rengjøringspersonell og skiftet på sengene og byttet handduker. Under ligger en meget bra restaurant som har veldig god mat og noen ganger er det behagelig taffelmusikk der med en gitarist eller saksofonist som kan sine saker. Det er et rolig område med lite trafikkstøy og nattebråk. Et par av oss syntes sengene var litt harde, men ellers var leiligheten helt topp.
