This was an absolutely delightful experience. The host did not use VRBO to communicate, and when we received check-in information, etc., about one hour before the check-in time (having just arrived on a trans-Atlantic flight), we found that we were diverted to a non-VRBO property, with no explanation as to why the property we had reserved and paid for was not available. We had time for merely a cursory look at some photos provided after we insisted.This was totally different from our previous VRBO experience.
