This was the second time staying in this cabin. It was the perfect location for our stay. The cabin had everything that we needed for a quick stay. We plan on coming back next summer.

Everything was perfect! Our family just needed a place to stay to do some apple-picking and the location was perfect. So close to many apple orchards and some great trails/waterfalls too. Just wish we had more time to spend than one night so we could have more time enjoying the property!

The cabin was situated on a little stream and we enjoyed the hot tub every evening after a long day of hiking. There are a few maintenance issues that could be addressed but overall we would definitely come back.

We had a great stay in this cabin. The cabin is well stocked with everything that you will need. It is close to all the outdoor activities that we enjoy and to Brevard. We have stayed in other cabins that David offers and they are all great!

Great setting, next to small, rocky stream, surrounded by large, old rhododendrons. Should be gorgeous when they bloom in June. Cabin was spotless, well-equipped and homey. Easy to understand signage throughout cabin, explaining how everything worked, was much appreciated. Host responded clearly and quickly to all questions. Hot tub with plenty of towels felt like a luxury after the drive from the Triangle area.

We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely come back. The host was incredibly accommodating and made us feel welcome from the start.What really stood out was the attention to detail. Everything had been thoughtfully provided, and the kitchen was stocked with quality, usable cookware instead of the bare minimum you often find in vacation rentals. It truly felt like a place designed for guests to enjoy rather than just get by.This is also one of the most pet-friendly places we've stayed. The dedicated fenced area for dogs was a fantastic feature and gave us real peace of mind while traveling with our pets.Our favorite part of each day was relaxing on the porch and listening to the creek. It was peaceful, beautiful, and exactly the kind of setting we were hoping for. If you're looking for a comfortable, well-equipped getaway with a responsive host and a relaxing atmosphere, this property is an excellent choice.

Mountain Shadows is a cozy cottage nestled in the forest amongst a few other cabins but with enough privacy to let you lay back and relax. The house was well-equipped, clean and the hot tub was a welcome diversion after a long day out. This is a place I would definitely recommend to anyone.

We had a wonderful stay here. The cabin was very clean and well equipped; we had everything we needed and did not have any issues. We loved the privacy setting in the woods, and loved the hot tub. The temperature of the hot tub was perfect. The location was convenient to Brevard and surrounding parks and restaurants.

This VRBO was awesome! It was so private and had so much land and space! It was extremely well taken care of and the cleaning crew did an excellent job thinking of every little detail. The hot tub was better than our big Gatlinburg cabin from the prior day and we really enjoyed it and the ambiance. Highly reccomend!!
