Pet Friendly Apartment with Beautiful ocean views and Puppy Park

Welcome to Beachfront Studio & Rothbar Puppy Park and wonderful Crescent City, CA.

Beautifully furnished for your comfort and the style of the Pacific Ocean in mind, Beachfront Studio features a one bedroom, one bath studio apartment with a comfortable queen-size bed, an equally relaxing double-size futon/bed, a large sofa and an open-concept living room/kitchen/dining room/sun room with YouTube TV and various movie channels and wireless Internet access.

The apartment has a large kitchen that is fully equipped. The bathroom has a shower/tub and you have access to the laundry room. The property is located on Pebble Beach Drive, with unmatched ocean views from the property or you can head down to the beach - just a short 1/2 block walk away!

Best of all is the breathtaking view of the Pacific Ocean. Directly in front of you lies a grassy area with table and benches to enjoy majestic sunsets, miles and miles of deep blue ocean and sea stacks where you may often see migrating whales and adventurous surfers.

Directly behind of our back yard, we own another piece of property which we call the Rothbar Puppy Park. The puppy park is approximately 1/2 acre that is fully fenced, with a small garden and lots of grass and textures for your pups to explore and enjoy. Within the puppy park is a 10x12 ft. puppy spa with warm water and electricity to bathe and dry your 4-legged friends after a romp on the beach. We accept dogs only. no cats.

When you initially book our apartment, please indicate the number of guests (3–person maximum), the number of beds needed and the number of pets and size of the pets. We allow only dogs, no cats.

There is an additional $25 fee for pets. We have found that our house keeper requires additional time to thoroughly clean the apartment when guests have pets. We appreciate your understanding. This fee will be requested after you have confirmed your reservation.

In addition to these wonderful accommodations, my art studio adjoins the apartment. I use this studio for art classes and to create various art that includes silk painting, fused glass and mosaics. You may make arrangements to participate in a variety of art classes for a nominal fee.

A little getaway

Very clean and comfortable accommodations. Rande and Thomas were very sweet and had good suggestions on what to do in the area. It was a close drive to the Red Woods. We had our dog with us and it was perfect for her, they had a dog park literally in the backyard. We would definitely stay here again!

What an amazing stay at such a beautiful location. The hosts were beyond friendly and helpful our entire stay. The dog park for our Lab was amazing as well as the short walk to the beach. We will surely be back in the future and would recommend this to anyone visiting crescent city!

Gem for dog owners with beautiful view!

Randi and Samuel's place is very special, especially if you are traveling with your dog. It's on a bluff with a spectacular view of the coastline, outfitted with a full kitchen and has an adjacent piece of property that is enclosed and very nicely landscaped so your pups can run around and play. Wonderful hosts!

Even better than the pictures. Rande was the perfect host. My dog loved the large grass play area and miles and miles of uncrowded beaches to run on. I loved the beautiful ocean view from my room and the house was very bright and open.

Wow!

My wife and I stayed at this wonderful VRBO for four nights. The suite was very well appointed with a huge LED TV, a excellent kitchen (we found the drip coffee maker!) and a comfy bed. The suite was spotless. We met both Rande and Samuel, both great people. The location is great-across the street and down the stairs to the Pacific-and quiet!! If you’re coming to Crescent City, stay here!

This was a weekend getaway with my husband for my birthday. We wanted close to the water (even though we ended up having almost non-stop rain) and this was literally across the street from the ocean. Fabulous stay!

My partner and I stayed with Rande and Samuel for two nights in Crescent City, and we're already trying to find a date for a return trip! This location is ideal, situated perfectly between the Jedediah Smith State Park and the Redwoods State & National Parks! The space was beautiful and comfortable, with a smart TV logged into several streaming services, and a cozy bed to boot! Rande and Samuel even offered to let our pup out to pee during the day, if we were interested in pursuing a hike that wasn't dog-friendly! They were very generous with their time, showing us around the place and chatting with us without ever feeling imposing, and their little pup park across the alley is both adorable and excellent for a little late night or morning fetch! We really loved this space, and look forward to returning again someday.

Perfect place with perfect views

My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The space was artfully decorated with very cool mosaic pieces and the owner was very kind and helpful. The location is the best! You can see the ocean from the bedroom window AND you can walk across the street to the amazing lookout over the ocean. Located close to everything- beaches/food/redwoods! Would definitely recommend! Clean and space for dogs - didn’t bring ours for this trip but there was perfect space for dogs.

Great Space In Crescent City

This was possibly the nicest VRBO rental so far. Nice studio apartment with comfortable furniture and well stocked kitchen. We cooked a lot and were able to do most of what we wanted with the things they had in their kitchen. Beds were comfy, couch was comfy. TV was huge and we were able to login with our Hulu and HBO accounts and stream. Internet was solid. Dog yard was nice, and we felt welcome. Nice stay! Thanks ladies!
