Quiet, charming house, perfect for relaxing. Family house with vintage decor, large and beautiful garden, the distance from the beach and the market achievable by bike or on foot.

Peace and quiet in paradise.

The house is a little ramshackle (in a good way) and that makes it more in keeping with its beautiful surroundings and adds to the overall experience. Its location is perfect - a short walk into town, a short bike ride to the beach or onto the forest cycle path. The kitchen is very well equipped which makes life easier (sharp knives! Hooray!) The communication and the welcome from Christiane was excellent. It's a terrific place in a wondrous location. We couldn't have been happier.

Schönes Haus in ruhiger Umgebung und nicht weit von den Fahrradwegen und Stränden.Das Haus ist prinzipiell gut ausgestattet,aber leider sind die Betten zumindest für uns viel zu schmal.140cm.Breite für 2 Personen,das geht für uns garnicht, zumindest ist es für 2 Personen definitiv zu eng.Außerdem gab es in den Schlafzimmern keine richtigen Ablagemöglichtkeiten für die Kleider usw.oder die viel zu kleinen Wandschränke waren voll gestellt mit anderen Dingen.Das ist eigentlich nicht akzeptabel.Die Bäder waren mehr oder weniger akzeptabel, aber in dem einen Bad war die Dusche sehr eng und in dem anderen Bad musste man über die Wanne steigen,um zu duschen-für ältere Leute auf alle Fälle eine Herausforderung.Weiterhin waren die Lampen über den Waschbecken defekt ,einige Steckdosen defekt ,ebenso wie der Wasserhahn in der Küche, von dem dachte ,dass er jeden Moment herausfällt.Es gibt also einiges in dem Haus was zu verbessern wäre, dann wäre es ein wirklich super Haus, zumal bei dem nicht gerade günstigen Preis in der Nachsaison.Für 8 Personen ist das Haus übrigens definitiv zu klein!

Huis is lekker ruim, van alle gemakken voorzien. Fijne tuin. Handig zijn de fietsen voor de kleine boodschapjes. Lekker rustige buurt. Hopen zeker nog eens terug te komen!

wunderschöne Tage in Monta

Wir verbrachten zu dritt mit unserem Hund die Ferien in diesem schönen, sonnendurchfluteten Häuschen. Wir wurden nett empfangen von Christiane. Besonders positiv sind zu erwähnen: der tolle Garten, die schönen Schlafzimmer mit guten Matratzen, zwei neue Bäder und die gut ausgestattete Küche. Der morgendliche Spaziergang mit unserem Hund zum Meer durch das Wäldchen und die Dünen war fantastisch, auf dem Rückweg über Monta beim Bäcker vorbei, herrlich !! Ein großes Dankeschön auch an Camille, die Kommunikation mit ihr war perfekt.

Perfektes Familiendomizil

Wir waren 10 Tage in diesem Traumhäuschen mit 2 Kindern und 3 Erwachsenen. Da wir keinen luxuriösen Anspruch haben und eher auf alte Gemäuer mit gemütlicher Einrichtung stehen war das Häuschen einfach perfekt für uns. Im geräumigen Wohn- und Esszimmer kann man gut heiße Tage verbringen, da das alte Gemäuer kaum Hitze ins Haus lässt. Hier gibt es auch eine Auszieh-Couch und noch ein Einzelbett. 2 der 3 Schlafzimmer haben französische Betten und Schränke mit genug Stauraum. Das 3. Schlafzimmer ist als Kinderzimmer angelegt mit bis zu 3 Einzelbetten und 2 kleinen Kommoden. Alle Betten knarzen etwas und die Türen klemmen teilweise was aber eher charmant als störend ist. Alles sehr gemütlich. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet mit Kaffeemaschine, Spülmaschine, Mikrowelle und Herd und auch genügend Geschirr und Besteck. Alles nicht das Neueste, aber erfüllt seinen Zweck. Es gibt 2 Bäder, eines mit Wanne (perfekt für sandverkrustete Kinder) und WC und eines nur mit Dusche, außerdem gibt es noch ein separates WC. In einem Schuppen im Garten gibt es diverse Fahrräder, auch für Kinder und einen Fahrrad-Kindersitz, Sonnenschirme, Liegestühle, eine Hängematte sowie einen Kinderstuhl für die ganz Kleinen. Alles in allem waren wir seeehr zufrieden, auch mit der Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin und ihrer Haushälterin und der Nöhe zum Strand. Wir werden bestimmt wieder kommen!

Maison vieillotte et familiale

Maison qui nécessiterait quelques travaux de rénovation. Trop pu de prises électriques dans la salle de bain. Logement insuffisant pour 10 comme le propose l annonce. Convient tout juste pour huit. La chambre enfants est exiguë et manque de rangement. Plage relativement proche.

Excellentes vacances de printemps.Le quartier est agréable et proche de la mer ,du marché et de la ville.La maison est confortable même quand le temps est un peu frais.Les vélos mis à disposition sont parfaits.

Ferienhaus ok

Leider sind die Türen alle verzogen und klemmen, dadurch sehr laut, wenn nachts jemand aufs Klo geht. Die Fahrräder sind eine Gratiszugabe, sind aber in schlechtem Zustand, teilweise nicht benutzbar. Weg zum Meer zu Fuß ganz schön weit. Sonst ok, sehr schönes Wohnzimmer, Küche leider sehr klein.

Emplacement exceptionnel à proximité direct de l’océan.

Location conforme à la description avec deux grands avantages : la proximité de magnifiques plages et les vélos mis à disposition. Petit point noir pour les amoureux du calme: les camps de vacances de jeunes ados disséminés dans la pinède juste en face, très bruyants en soirée jusqu’à 22h. Propriétaire très réactive et d’excellente volonté. À recommander.

C'était merveilleux, Merci.

Es war wunderbar, die ganze Familie hat sich wohl gefühlt, und wir verbrachten zwei erholsame Wochen in Montalivet. Kurzer Weg zum großen Sandstrand, eine angenehme Betreuung durch die Verwalterin, ein kleiner Ort mit allem notwendigen direkt vor der Tür, trotzdem eine ruhige Wohnlage, und natürlich: der atlantische Ozean. Und alles zu einem fairen Preis. Also, wir kommen wieder!

Maison très agréable à proximité des plages à vélo (à disposition dans le garage, un vrai +) et des commerces. Très calme et bien équipée, avec son terrain clos pour les enfants. Je recommande.

Sehr schön, sauber und gemütlich

Trotz schwieriger Zeit (COVID-19) von Anfang an sehr nette Und direkte Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin. Jeweils umgehend Antwort bei Fragen oder Wünschen. Check-in sehr gut organisiert mit Ansprechperson vor Ort. Ferienhaus wie beschrieben, sauber, sehr gut ausgestattet und liebevoll eingerichtet. Insbesondere auch sehr gut ausgestattete Küche mit reichlich Töpfen, Geschirr und Kleinigkeiten wie Salz, Zucker usw. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl und wie in den eigenen vier Wänden. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ein schönes Haus! Wunderbare Lage!

Wir hatten herrliche 2 Wochen in Montalivet im Haus Fleuriane! Die Verwalterin Christiane war sehr zuvorkommend und nett! Die Lage vom Haus ist etwas abseits vom Ort aber mit dem Velo ist alles rasch erreichbar. Es ist die Woche durch sehr ruhig, am Wochenende kommen manchmal junge Leute schräg gegenüber in ein Zentrum, dann geht es nachts bis in die Morgenstunden laut her. Aber dank Ohropax ist das kein Problem, wir waren ja auch mal jung! Das Haus ist geräumig, bis auf die Küche, die aber für 2 Leute ok war. Es hat 2 Bäder und 2 WC, sehr angenehm. Die Doppelbetten sind 1,40m breit, da wir nur zu zweit waren, konnte jeder ein Bett haben! Vor und hinter dem Haus kann man entweder in der Sonne oder im Schatten sitzen. Morgens und abends kamen meist 3 bis 5 kleine Kätzchen zu Besuch! Montalivet ist einfach herrlich! Das schöne Meer, die Natur, die Ruhe! Insgesamt eine wunderschöne Zeit! Gerne kommen wir wieder! Herzlichen Dank an Frau Griffoulieres!

This nice holiday house red and white is very charming by his old typical style, a nice and big garden with big trees and shadow in front and at the back of the house, without any view on a neighbor house.
In the house you have :
- 3 rooms (2 doubles 1 twin), newly renovated, with new matresses, customized with stickers,
- 1 large living room in a vintage 70's style, with table to eat, a new sleeping coach and an additional bed, very lightly (4 door windows), with a guitar, some DVDs (TV and DVD player of course), books, games...
- 1 kitchen well equiped, 2 bathrooms renovated, one with a shower the other with a bath.
- Outside, you can relax in a nice transat, hamac or plastic mattress, eat on a table. There is also some beach games, a body board some 4 bicycles for adults, 1 for child, LEND FOR FREE (I am just asking a deposit), enjoy !

Why they chose this property

Quiet, charming, relaxing and vintage arty interior, huge and nice garden, distance to the beach and the market. From Paris, take the ferry to Royan then go through Soulac-sur-Mer and Montalivet
From Bordeaux then follow road Lesparre Vendays-Montalivet or drive the lakes in summer and via Carcans Hourtin. Move by bike is possible thanks to a great network of bike paths throughout paved and flat roads in the pine forest, very nice . I lend 4 adult bikes et 1 chid bike free of charge. Visit best french wines area (at 15km), the 'route des châteaux' in the Médoc : Château Margaux St Estephe, Mouton Rotschild, Paulhac..., Bordeaux at 1:30 for a cultural visit. Possibility of surfing on the ocean, sailing and kite surfing at the Hourtin lake (at 20 km) the biggest natural lake in France, wonderful ! with UCPA sailing club and quiet white sand beach for families (water warm, swim possible in spring and autumn).
