Located only half a block from the restaurants and bars on Duval Street, you'll have plenty to do within walking or biking distance of this rental, so leave your car in the private parking space provided. Check out the Ernest Hemingway Home and Museum, Fort Zachary Taylor Historic State Park, or say goodbye to land for a while and hop on a sailboat for a romantic cruise into the sunset.

When you need to rest and freshen up, you'll be glad to have a private garden and hot tub in the backyard, a fully equipped kitchen for cooking meals, several flatscreen cable TV's, and free WiFi to browse and upload photos. There's patio furniture out back, as well as a grill to have your own island barbecue. The family dog is also welcome to come along for an additional nightly fee.

Amazing location! We planned on using the hot tub the first night but the water level was really low. The good news is that Vacasa took care of us the next day! The roosters were loud so bring ear plugs or have white noise. There isn’t a dishwasher but we managed. One more chair in the living room instead of another end table would give seating for four. All in all a really great place!

We wanted to stay close to Duval St but not too close. We were disappointed with the stay. One of the rooms smelled and it was still loud at night. Not very nice amenities. VERY expensive for what we got.

Great Location

The property is located within walking distance to most of the highlights of the Key West.. More than enough room for the 2 of us and having off street parking is a big plus. The front gate concrete needs to be repaired and some of the walking stones in the back need to be spaced and leveled.. The hottub was a wonderful addition and was very clean. The tv in the master bedroom wasn't working but on the other hand the bed was very comfortable.

Great placed for adults but not with a family with children. The bedrooms were nice but the sitting area for family gatherings was small. There was one couch and one chair. Overall it was in walking distance to Duval street and local restaurants.

Bad experience

The location was about all that was good about the house. The A/C was not working and when I called they told me they would send out & person came out but told me there was nothing he could do that owners needed to put new A/C units in. The one that did work was filthy. The place could have charm with some maintenance

The location and size were as advertised. However the hot tub had a bit of a smell and did not heat up, one of the bedroom windows, bottom left, was completely rotted with possible mold. There were also 2 cockroaches that we saw. Possibly in through the rotted window or the rotted out spots in the floor in the hall.

Beautiful home, lousy bed

Everything was really nice about this home, but the mattress in the middle room is horrible. As a travel professional I spend 2-3 nights a week in a hotel and this was by far, the most uncomfortable bed I have ever been in. I did not really get the nice deep sleep due to a overused mattress. Great in all other ways but what I consider the most important aspect of a place to sleep was a complete failure. I would recommend somewhere else for the cost. Or - the owner/management should be more diligent towatd their patrons comfort.

Had cute charm and close enough to action but was not the standard we expected nor the $$

Upon arriving we really loved the cute charm of the house. However knobs were missing from drawers, some of the drawers were falling out of the cabinets. The place was mostly clean; our feet were dirty from walking around inside the house bare foot. The hot tub was flat out disgusting. Gross green foam dried all around the walls of it; Cloudy water, and debris in the hot tub. After waking up from our first night there; we were outside drinking coffee on the patio and a stranger walked in the back yard and started messing with the hot tub and then another climbing on the roof of the house with no warning or acknowledgement that we were back there as well as flying a drone over the house area. We had early check in available for free and late check out available this stuff could of been done when people were not visiting on vacation we paid to enjoy and have privacy while we were there. We were also told there would be a space on the road for parking. Yet there was not any available. We did not need the space luckily; and were able to park our golf cart behind our car in the other designated parking space. Coffee pot leaked EVERYWHERE. It smelled musky in the house which I understand happens with old homes however this was coming from the a.c's, that didn't really cool very well. Someone came and sprayed the house while we were out to help with the smell I guess and again another intrusion on our privacy and our paid time in the keys. The Tv in one of the bedrooms you could not get to work. There was also black mold along the bottom of the shower.

Great Key West escape!

This was the perfect house for my brother and myself, along with our spouses, while visiting Key West for a few days. It was close to everything we wanted to do. We didn't spend much time in the house as we were out exploring, but was just what we needed when we returned each day. The AC kept the house comfortable enabling us to rejuvenate for the next days adventure. The neighbors in the rental next door were also a pleasure. We'll be back! Thanks Vacasa

Lovely 2 Br Home with its own rear parking spot and a few blocks walking distance to Duval St., Simonton St,, Truman Ave. Comfy bed, private backyard with hot tub, pet friendly too. We sat on front porch and enjoyed locals too. Great experience!
