Welcome to Silver Bear! Location is everything - this cozy condo is just steps away to Canyon Lodge (.2 miles) for easy access to the ski slopes, bike park, and public transportation to Canyon Lodge and the Village at Mammoth!

This unit offers easy access with self-check-in, in-unit laundry, Wi-Fi, parking for 2 cars, (1 space in heated underground garage, height limit 7'2”; 1 outside), jacuzzi, ski-locker, and elevator.

About the space:
This 2-bed, 2 bath, Silver Bear condo is an excellent place to enjoy everything you love about Mammoth Lakes. The property is walking distance to Canyon Lodge and the free town shuttle – allowing you to access all the great activities Mammoth has to offer right from the front door!
The home is beautifully furnished and decorated with mountain décor, making you feel right at home in the mountains.

This property is a spacious 1180 sq. ft. open floor plan with a living area, dining area and large kitchen. Enjoy the fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to cook a delicious meal. The living room has natural light from all the windows, comfortable couches, a flatscreen TV, and a cozy gas fireplace.

This home comfortably sleeps 6 people, bedrooms are located on opposite sides of the condo for privacy. The master bedroom offers a king-sized bed, and dressers/closet space for clothing storage. There is an ensuite bathroom with a double vanity and tub/shower. The second bedroom offers two queen sized beds, also with dresser/closet space. There is a designated workspace with desk, chair, and lamp in the second bedroom. The second bathroom is attached to the main living area and the second bedroom; it offers a double vanity and tub/shower.

In the hallway is private in-unit laundry. There is a ski-locker located in the garage to store all your gear and equipment.

We provide coffee, coffee filters, creamer, sugar, salt, pepper, cooking oil, and a fully stocked kitchen. We also provide all linens and towels, shampoo, conditioner, hairdryer, soap, lotion, toilet paper, paper towels, tissues, dish soap, dish detergent, sponges, trash bags, and laundry detergent.

You will not regret booking this gorgeous home. It will be a long-time favorite for you and your family.

You will have the entire condo to yourselves.

The HOA amenities are available to all guests staying at Silver Bear. There are two jacuzzis, heated underground parking, & community BBQ (seasonal).

There is 1 assigned parking space in the garage (7'2"), and 1 spot available in the outdoor parking area. 2 parking passes provided and must be displayed in the vehicles at all times during your stay.

This area is very popular during the winter. Street parking on the roads is not allowed in winter months from November to April 30th.

Perfect place.

You can walk to Canyon Lodge which is amazing since the parking near the lifts is limited. The condo had everything we needed and plenty of common area to visit.

Great skiing get-away; excellent location

We very much enjoyed staying at Silver Bear, and the location proximity to Canyon Lodge was great! The condo was comfortable, clean and nice. We found everything we needed. Great parking, etc. The wi-fi unfortunately did not work much in the evenings, and the property hot tub was overly saturated with chlorine/ smelled like bleach. Would stay here again.

Spring break trip

Place was great! Ease to get to, great location within walking distance to Canyon lodge, easy to get into the place and located on first floor, and condo was very spacious for my family of five. The place had all the amenities that we needed as well. Only slight consideration is the noise from above. Definitely can get noisy when neighbors moving a lot above. I think you get that in any of these places though.

Felt like home

My husband and two month old baby stayed in the condo for a week and my parents joined us for a couple of nights. The condo is very comfortable and it felt like home. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking utensils, oils, and seasonings. Everything was very clean. The location is a very short drive to the lakes and super close to the mountain bike trails. I would stay here again.

Very Cozy!

This was a very last minute trip, I booked it the day before and hoped I made a good choice. We traveled with 2 teen boys who hate sharing a bed on vacations so the bedroom with 2 queens was great. The condo was easy to access, very clean, and the beds were amazing. The kitchen was well stocked, and the living room was large and very comfortable as well. Would definitely stay here again!

Top-Notch Mammoth Experience

We very much enjoyed the place. Large open layout of living, kitchen and dining areas. Loved the feel. Big river rock fireplace and adventure themed decor truly set you up for the Mammoth experience. Kitchen has all modern large and small appliances. I stayed with a couple friends. All said beds were very comfortable. Mother Nature dropped over a foot of snow last night. The underground parking is a big plus. Owner response was great. Manager, Alex hand delivered a fresh 9-Volt battery for the CO2 detector that beeped our last night. Will definitely book this place again in the future.

Great Family Ski/Snowboard Destination

This was an excellent family ski/snowboard destination. The place was open and bright with plenty of space. WiFi, TV’s, DVD’s, Hot Tub, underground parking and plenty of evening distractions. Short walk to the base of the mountain and helpful host support when you forget to check your email. I would absolutely come back again and thanks for a wonderful weekend!

Adequate property, unimpressive management company

Property was adequate - owners have tried to add modern furniture, electronics and appliances to a very 1980's property. Bathrooms have tiny showers and sinks, original (and very loud) washer/dryer, no AC. Kitchen is well stocked with appliances, living room very comfortable. The CA Governor locked down the state right before we arrived, many things were not open (pool/hot tub at the property, restaurants, etc.). This left us with little to do (one family member had an injured knee, making hiking impossible) in a property with no Air Conditioning in temps of 80+ degrees. At least the WiFi was pretty good for the kids. Beware the management company - if you have any problems, good luck getting their attention. They never sent a copy of the rental agreement that we signed electronically (apparently, you need to ask them to send it to you). We had emailed them through the VRBO interface before we arrived - no response. Instructions in the unit say to text them - we did, no response. Tried the VRBO interface again, only to find that "This property has been removed at the owners request" and I couldn't even locate this property on VRBO. Still can't, days later. When I finally emailed them (after digging out my laptop and finding an email address - the whole point of the vacation was to NOT do that) to say "We left a day early, there were no checkout instructions, this is what we did" I finally got a response. The funny part - their sum total response was denial. "Why didn't you call too? Why didn't you use the VRBO interface to email us? The property is too still there on VRBO!" (just checked again - no, it isn't).
