We had a great stay. There was plenty of room in our well equipped cottage and the beds were very comfortable. The local amenities were good, especially the meals at the local pub and the week stocked local shop at the nearby garage.Of particular note was our host who went out of her way to ensure I had a comfortable stay after sustaining an injury elsewhere. I felt very cared for and greatly appreciated every kind interaction

Having both a washer and a dryer was good. It would have helped to have the fridge cold when we arrived. As it was, I ended up putting my glaucoma eye drops in the freezer while we went to dinner, thinking it was a second fridge. They froze solid and were no longer usable so I had to find a pharmacy the next morning to buy more. In the future, a label on the freezer or some indication of what it is would be useful.

Maison accueillante et bien équipée, lits confortables dans un environnement très calme de la campagne du Connemara, proche de Galway. Elisa a été disponible pour nous expliquer le fonctionnement des équipements (eau chaude notamment), je lui suggère de niveler la grande flaque d’eau à l’entrée du jardin qui permettrait plus facilement d’entrer à pied dans la propriété

Das Ferienhaus entsprach in einigen Punkten nicht ganz der Beschreibung (Ausstattung, fehlender Fernsehempfang). Zudem wirkte es teilweise renovierungsbedürftig, was den Aufenthalt etwas beeinträchtigt hat. Eine nicht angekündigte Kamera am Eingang sowie die Kommunikation hätten wir uns transparenter gewünscht.Wir würden uns künftig für eine andere Unterkunft entscheiden

While the host was very responsive, the heat was out and was not repaired during our stay. Elisa brought 2 space heaters over but one only worked for a short time & then quit. There was hot water and the kitchen was stocked. The dishwasher was not working but the laundry and dryer did work. The renovations to the part of the house looked amateurish. I couldn’t tell whether it was mold or dirt or ill - finished paint on parts of the floor & ceiling. It was a short drive to Galway. Elisa did refund us one nights stay & did offer a full refund if we left after the first night. However, as it was a Saturday most every place in Galway was booked so we stayed the 2nd night. I would not stay there again.
