For those who are looking for a touch of English elegance, then the nearby country houses of Chatsworth House and Tissington Hall are just a short drive away as are the pretty towns of Ashbourne, Matlock Bath, Bakewell and Buxton, all of which have a variety of shops and restaurants.
Head straight into the lounge which has a sofa, an armchair, a TV and wood burner, which means you can cosy up on those chilly evenings, read a book or watch your favourite TV show in comfort. There is an area off the lounge which is ideal for taking off your hiking boots and coat for drying by the fire. There is a dining table with seating for up to two guests should you wish to dine in or have breakfast before heading out to explore the area. Off the lounge there is a well equipped kitchen which boasts electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and a TV. Upstairs there is the double bedroom and when you want to revitalise your senses there is an en-suite shower and WC.
