Overall fantastic experience, the location was great, the views were beautiful. Plenty of room to sleep a large group.
Getting on and off the dock was a little primitive but adequate. Gangplank was a loose set of boards that needed adjusted after moderate boat traffic. Dryer was an older model and took a few cycles to dry a load of clothes. Would definitely book it again.

Property Manger was great to work with! First night
We fell through the deck. Very dated place needs a renovation. Wouldn't recommend stay until property was updated

Thank you for the review. I am sorry about the deck boards and am glad we were able to have someone come out next morning to replace them. I will meet with the owners and go over some things that need updating. Thank you
We spent a great week at DREAM CATCHER II with our 3 adult children, spouse and grandchild! The spacious layout of the house gave everyone their personal sleeping space and bathroom which was ideal.
We brought our boat and having a private dock to use was great, with the ramp not too far away. The dock offered a nice ladder to get in and out of the water where we spent most of our days floating on our various rafts!
Our family cooked dinner every night and the kitchen was stocked with more than enough supplies and extra conveniences like baggies, salt, pepper and sugar to name just a few.
Mary Lamb, the property manager, was one of the BEST I have ever dealt with. She responded very quickly and courteously to every question I had before, during and after our stay (unfortunately, I left an item behind, and she graciously mailed it to me...customer service above and beyond, THANK YOU MARY!)
Our group had 3 couples plus 1 child and the 3 separate floors with sleeping facilities was perfect!! It was just a short walk down the stairs to the dock and waterfront where we spent the majority of our time with family swimming. Given the chance we would most definitely stay here again!!
Current pictures on website doesn’t do this place justice. Much bigger and nicer than expected!! Had everything we needed. We would definitely stay there again.
Only negative would be the stairs on the dock for getting out of the water, rusty & slippery - need replaced.
Gorgeous cabin and lakefront property. Perfect for pontoon boat, tandem kayak, and jet ski. The cabin is located in a cove right on the lake. The water is clean, clear, and warm. Fish stay cool under the dock, making fishing easy.
Plenty of parking for 2-3 vehicles with 2 trailers.
Honestly, I shouldn’t tell anyone how much of a gem this location is. Thank you for a relaxing time.

Amazing location, easy access, it has all the kitchen thing you'd need, comfortable beds, nice dock. The only thing that could make this place perfect is if the dock was just a little bigger, the owner keeps their boat there. I would definitely book this location again!
Great location in a cove by the no wake marker. The house offered plenty of room for 4 adults & 5 kids. We would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking to enjoy all Norris Lake has to offer.
Really enjoyed our stay. Had plenty of room for 2 families of 4. Beds could be a little better as far as comfort but otherwise great cabin in a great location on the lake. We have rented several places at Norris and this was probably best so far.
The pictures in this post does this house no justice! Home is way bigger than it appears. We had a family of 11 and more than enough room. The house was clean, well stocked with necessities, and extremely relaxing. Beautiful view of the lake from both porches. Hammock for relaxing, and an easy walk to the dock. Pretty private setting. This was our first Norris trip and we plan to come back to this house year after year!!!
Easy access to lake, great dock to park our boat, and quiet cove so that kids can swim safely.

Loved Lake Norris, Problems with the House
The proximity of this home to the lake and the views are beautiful. The home has a couple of great porches - one with a great swing to look out over the lake. Unfortunately, we could not enjoy any outdoor time around the house while here. When we arrived, my daughter noted a foul odor as we were unpacking and I chalked it up to smells that sometimes arise outdoors; however, the smell became worse that day and the next and then we noticed an area of the grass that had become discolored. There was either a septic tank failure or leak of some sort. Every walk to and from the lake required a walk past the septic tank area and being out on the back or side porches was very unpleasant. It prevented us from having dinners outside and being able to sit around the firepit. Unfortunately, the last two days we were at the lake were rainy so we weren’t on the lake. Because the stench was very strong by then, we were not able to enjoy any time on the porch - listening to the rain, playing cards and games, or on the porch swing, but were stuck in the house.
I reached out to the property management who immediately communicated to the owner, but ultimately no repairs were done until after we had left. After almost 2 weeks of communication after our departure, the property management indicated they had been authorized to give our family $25 to compensate for the issue. While I recognize that sometimes things like this do happen, a $25 gift card for the impact on our single family vacation was more insulting than I think simply ignoring our communication, which the owners essentially did for a week and a half anyhow.
Aside from those issues, the home is bigger than it appears on the site. The lower level has 2 distinct bedrooms alone and 5 twin beds plus a queen. The main level has a master that can sleep 2 and the loft has two beds (one futon, I think) that could sleep 3-4. Unfortunately none of us (7 – kids and adults alike) could find a comfortable bed in the mix!
The view from the home and proximity to the lake is fantastic. The newer paved driveway is short and steep with an angle - difficult to maneuver with a boat, but we were able to use the older (non-paved) access path when we had the boat in tow.
The home is well equipped and the boat launch is just a few minutes down the same street – couldn’t be more convenient! We did appreciate the easy dock access – good path and steps, and was surprised to see a canoe at the dock.

Loved our week at Dream Catcher!
This house exceeded our expectations. There was plenty of space for our group of 10. We’ve stayed at many different places on Norris Lake and this is the best stocked one ever. Everything we needed was there. It is clean and well maintained. The view to the lake from both decks is amazing. (We loved the porch swing.) The walk to the dock isn’t too bad. My parents (in their 70s) were able to make it down and back up. We would love to make this our annual family reunion spot!

Exceeded our expectations!
Everything was so convenient. Launching the boat right down the street, access to the cabin from the road and the lake, and storage of our boat on the provided dock allowed a stress-free, relaxing weekend. We’ve already booked for next summer. Thank you!

Beautiful secluded lakefront getaway
Lovely stay on beautiful Norris Lake. House is much larger than it appears in the photos. Nicely appointed; kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable. We rented a boat from a nearby marina and kept it at the house's own boat dock for the duration of our stay. Would definitely return again.
