enjoyed a small reunion of Guilford College alumni. Some stayed here, some at JuneBug across Carl’s Chapel Rd and some at a AirB&B down the road a piece. It was a great location.
Excellent property, had all the little touches that made you feel at home. Perfect location if you have an event at Junebug, a few miles from downtown Weaverville.
This was the perfect place for my family to stay for my wedding at Junebug Retro Resort across the street. Communication and cleanliness were wonderful. Highly recommend.
Lovely spot, near Weaverville. Walkable to the June Bug Resort if you happen to have an event there. Just note that VRBO has it listed as a 4 bedroom and then later (which I missed) it lists it as a 3 bedroom. Great space for a family but we did need the extra bedroom
The owners have thought of everything! Plush towels. Comfortable beds. Everything in the kitchen is labeled for easy location! The house was very comfortable. The cooks in the family may be disappointed with the pots and pans, but they are adequate.
We would definitely recommend this home.
My husband, daughter & I stayed here for a week while we were moving her into UNC Asheville. The location is great, very close to UNCA, downtown Asheville, the Biltmore, etc. The house was extremely clean, had plenty of blankets, pillows, towels, etc. I was impressed with all the amenities, including a welcome basket with snacks, hair dryer, scissors, and even a sewing kit! We used the hot tub, which was so enjoyable, the BBQ, and the WIFI, all of which had helpful instructions. My husband and I are used to our king size bed with memory foam mattress at home, so the queen seemed small and any movement from the other woke us up, but I really think it's personal preference.
Clean, spacious, and well stocked. Close proximity to Asheville is a plus. Decor is outdated but the price is good. Just note the damage deposit was higher than I’ve ever experienced. It was refunded within a week of our stay but Vrbo had my money from the time I booked this place until after the stay. And the damage deposit was more than the entire rental. Rich was very easy to work with and responsive.

What a gem!
We had the absolute best time staying at Rich + Rhonda's cabin. It's so beautiful with lots of windows surrounded by trees and a cozy atmosphere perfect for relaxing and enjoying your friends and family. We loved the fireplace and hot tub - it was a dream! They've also thought of everything from welcome snacks to extra shampoo, firestarter and wood and tons of soft blankets to snuggle up. The beds are all comfortable and it's so nice that there isn't a lot of clutter in the house- it's simple, feels new and clean. There are some great hiking trails with BlueRidge views nearby (We hiked the Rattlesnake Lodge Trail ) and downtown Asheville is 15 minutes away. We will be back for sure, so happy we found this sweet cabin. Thanks guys!
This home is immaculate! Beautiful, spacious, clean, and well-stocked!! Everything is discreetly but conveniently labeled for ease, from light switches and cabinetry contents to a WiFi password sign on each floor and printed channel directory near TVs. There’s a small shelving unit on the back wall of the great room that is full of brochures on sights and activities nearby. It’s a shame we couldn’t stay longer than the weekend to partake in more of what the area has to offer! They provided us shampoo, soap, makeup wipes, towels, sheets, snacks, water bottles, and more. We felt like we were staying in a private hotel. There are info sheets on the counter for hot tub use and house access rules and care. It’s fool-proof. We can’t recommend this home enough and we hope to have an opportunity to return again!
We rented this house to use with our friends over our wedding weekend at Junebug and it was such a great decision. The close proximity made it easy to hop back and forth. Great hosts!
Beautiful house with a nice landscape in the front. About 15 mins from downtown Asheville this worked perfectly for us. The house felt very homely & the owners have done a fantastic job to make the stay as comfortable as possible by taking care of the most minute details. The house is Pet friendly and our two dogs were very comfortable. Overall highly recommended for anyone visiting the area. Rich is also fantastic and very responsive to queries.
When we arrived, there was a wonderful basket of snacks that welcomed us!! Much appreciated!! Also, we were delighted by the assortment of coffees and creamers available for us.
The home was lovely, with beautiful hardwood floors, fireplace, and gorgeous trees surrounding the property. There were six of us, so we appreciated the three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Great hot tub!! We would highly recommend!
We rented with Rich and Ronda for our daughter’s wedding at June Bug. The house is even nicer than the photos and the property is gorgeous. Great, easy to work with hosts and a great place to relax and organize during our very busy weekend. Super clean and plenty of nice touches. I would return in a heartbeat.
We got married at the wedding venue located right across the street, June Bug. My bride and our wedding party stayed here. It was a wonderful place to relax in during such a memorable and fun time. It looks even better in person than the pictures. They left snacks and water for us. Everything worked great and was excellently labelled. The hot tub was perfect! No complaints, it was an excellent place to stay at!
I rented this property for my Mom and I.
My youngest son lives in Asheville and this was a great place for us to visit and cook a wonderful meal. The kitchen is amazing and the house is very spacious. I can’t stress enough how very clean it was. This is a great place for a large group of people to stay without being on top of each other.
We really enjoyed our short stay & wish we’d had more time. We especially enjoyed the well equipped kitchen since we did a little cooking. Also impressed the linens were very nice quality! Maybe we’ll get a chance to return for a longer stay!
Our experience could not have been better. Our 8 people and 1 dog were very comfortable in this cabin. The scenery was beautiful and it was very close to Asheville and the Biltmore. The house was very well stocked and the owners made things simple. Plus, there were plenty of stores just a few minutes away to get whatever else we needed. It was a totally positive experience.
Lovely property that’s convenient to Asheville and the mountains. Lots of great hiking nearby as well.
Enjoyed our stay.
