BEAUTIFUL NEW Beach-chic condo with AC 1 mile from Paia & Steps to Mama's Beach

Ku'au Plaza is a very small, friendly, quiet 30 unit condo complex; the only one of it's kind on Maui's north shore. Our fully remodeled, Beach Chic style condo is ideally nestled next to Mama's Beach & tide pools and the famous Mama's Fish House, only a mile from hip bohemian Paia town's award winning restaurants and boutiques. Ku'au Store is a few minute stroll from your door. Be sure to sample their local fresh poke and great deli sandwiches and freshly made daily "to go" items...perfect to stock up for the road to Hana.
The unit is located right on Hana Hwy. so there is some road noise. If you are a light sleeper it may not be ideal fit.
You are surrounded by world class beaches; suitable for every activity from toes in the sand sun bathing, long leisurely walks and swimming at Baldwin Beach, Paia Bay or Ku'au Bay, Snorkeling at Mama's or Ho'okipa Beach Park (summer season) to the most adventurous water sports including year round intermediate/advanced windsurfing, kitesurfing, SUP, foiling and more.
Driving east on Hana Hwy., you can be Hiking Twin Falls in 15min. drive, Bamboo Forest-20-25min.. Hana bound? Bonus, you'll have an ample head start on the south & west side visitors, especially if you leave before 8am.

After a long day full of "Maui magic", you will appreciate the split system blasting AC, built-in surround sound, King bed with hotel quality mattress and 100% cotton linens, new furniture and appliances. The kids and extra guests will rest well on our upgraded queen sofa sleeper in the living area. High speed internet, cable and smart tv are included.

Your fully stocked kitchen has all the essentials to cook full meals including cookware, utensils, rice cooker & coffee maker. We also provide an iron, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, hair dryer, bath towels, laundry detergent, beach towels, chairs, umbrella and collapsible cooler. If you care to BBQ there are several next to the laundry room in the common back yard area.

The manager is nearby and available to enhance your stay in any way possible.

My unit was spotless and had everything I needed. The location was ideal for me and I enjoyed being so near Paia for excellent shopping and meals. The little Kuau Store is just steps away and has delicious coffee, poke, pastries, sandwiches and anything else you could want for your stay, including a full selection of wines and spirits. The beautiful little beach near world famous Mama’s Fish House is very close and easy to walk to in just a matter of minutes. If you were lucky enough to have a reservation at Mama’s you are in for a delicious experience! Kelly was very accessible and easy to communicate with and made sure my stay was comfortable. She was super!I highly recommend this condo and look forward to future stays.

Paia is not a good location since it doesn’t have much. And it’s the most windy part of Mayi. But this place is amazinggggg! I appreciated the rice cooker, stuff to clean the house, some beach gears. It even has spices! Place is nice & clean. The sliding door was a bit hard to open. There’s a drying rack which we could dry our wet clothes from the beach.

It’s known for its laid-back, authentic North Shore vibe, beautiful Baldwin Beach, walkable boutique shopping, and world-renowned spots like Paia Fish Market and Mama’s Fish House. It’s also the gateway to the Road to Hana. Also tons of turtles on the beaches! Paia is a great fit for travelers seeking charm and a more local Maui experience.

The unit is less than a 5-minute walk to beautiful Mama’s Beach, exactly as advertised in the listing. The bedroom includes hanging cubbies in the closet for clothing storage. We’re also sorry for any disturbance from children during your stay. The complex is typically very quiet and primarily occupied by adults, and it is uncommon for there to be noise from kids.

So close to Mamas beach and Paia!

We loved the condo and location. It was clean, exactly as it was listed on VRBO and easy to access Mamas Beach! We loved sharing the beach with the sleeping turtles as well as walking for dinner to Mamas Beach Restaurant. The drive to Paia was less than 5 minutes and of course Paia Fish Market is there and is just the best for fresh locally caught fish! !

Wonderful Stay

This was the perfect place for my son and I. The condo was clean, comfortable, has a beautiful, spacious kitchen, and is a very short walk to the beach. The property manager Kelly was very responsive and an excellent resource in helping with a few questions I had during our stay. We look forward to going back again!

Amazing Paia condo on the north shore

We loved staying at this condo! The location was perfect. We enjoyed relaxing on Mama’s Beach and it was so nice to be within walking distance to Mama’s Fish House & the beach. The condo was very comfortable and clean. A truly wonderful experience!

While the outside is nothing special, the unit was beautiful and obviously recently updated with new granite, cabinets, shower etc. the kitchen was fully equipped and a joy to cook in. And the bed and linens were absolutely wonderful - made me want to upgrade our bed at home! We are sticklers about AC and the bonus was a unit in the bedroom for maximum comfort. As advertised, literally steps from Mama’s Beach - gorgeous, small but a current local hang out that had great snorkeling and a great vibe. Loved this place - lots of detail to comfort and luxury.

Great stay in Paia

This was our first time to Maui and Paia was the area we wanted to be in. We found this condo was situated well for the things we wanted to do (beaches, Hana, Haleakala). The condo was clean which is important when you travel so far. Good kitchen for cooking and very comfortable interior. Kelly was really responsive and helpful for the few questions we had and so everything just fell into place quite well. Really enjoyed our stay.

Great location but needs some maintenance

We really loved the location near the road to Hana and convenient to Haleakalā National Park. Also Paia is a cute town with nice restaurants. The room needs some attention. Patio doors stick, broken bedside lamp, something wrong with the bedroom light.Overall it met our needs. It wouldn’t take much to make it a five star stay.

Great location and stay

We chose this location because we wanted to see Haleakala Crater and surf on the north side. Cut down travel time at least 30 min from our usual stay in Kihei. Perfect location for both. Large eat in kitchen and fast knives made getting groceries and cooking easy beating high Maui restaurant prices. Make sure you get the checkin directions directly through Kelly herself. Vrbo is sending an older set with the wrong check in code and cell reception in front of the complex is spotty.

Absolutely Perfect!

Kuau property was fabulous! The condo was spotless and looked just like the photos. It was very comfortable, VERY clean and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed having the beach necessities too! This property is close to everything and you can easily walk to the little market! I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!
