The Best Kenai Peninsula Base Camp.
DISCOUNT FOR STAYING 7 DAYS OR MORE!! It’s a picturesque 2 1/2 hour drive through the Chugach Mountains to & from the Ted Stevens International Airport and just 25 minutes to & from the Kenai Municipal Airport, which is a 30-minute flight to Anchorage. The property is within 1 mile of the World Famous Kenai River and just 15 minutes from the center of Soldotna - home of the world record King Salmon. For your fishing trips on either side of the Peninsula it’s just 1 1/2 hours to Homer or Seward with many little towns along the way and only 45 minutes to the Russian River near the beautiful town of Cooper Landing. There are several scenic pull offs for your photo opportunities too.
This beautiful 2400 sq. ft. 2 story log home sits on 2.5 acres and is set up for large families or a group of friends. It features a charming custom kitchen & dining area, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, TV room, and laundry room. Off the deck there is a large front yard that has a fire pit w/patio, swing set, horseshoe pit, badminton & a basketball hoop in the driveway. Out back there is a covered pavilion with picnic tables, bar stools, other conveniences include a fish cleaning station, a few fishing poles, hip boots and life jackets. A freezer room with an extra refrigerator is also available for your use. The driveway/parking area is oversized and can accommodate RV's, boats or trailers.

Erik and Jodi Painter
Born and raised in Cooper Landing, Alaska, Erik helped his parents with Painter’s Packers, a horse packing business in the Chugach National Forest. In his teen years Erik worked for a local business eventually becoming a fishing guide on the Kenai River. By 1995, Erik was at work in the Prudhoe Bay oilfield.
Jodi lived in a few different states but found her home in Alaska. Growing up in Oregon as a young girl then moving to Pahrump, NV. as a teen, where she worked in the family restaurant for 7 years. In 1993 she moved to Cooper Landing Alaska.
Erik and Jodi married in 1996 moving from Cooper Landing to Sterling in 2000. This home in Sterling, where they raised 4 boys, became the center of many gatherings for family & friends sharing stories, laughter, delicious meals, and making memories.
After all the wonderful years spent in this home Erik & Jodi are ready to spend their summers back in Cooper Landing leaving this home available for you to enjoy.
