Enjoy the quiet and privacy of the gorgeous Wisconsin north woods, while being a short 20 minute drive to exceptional dining, shops and fun in the quaint town of Boulder Junction or 30 minutes to bustling Minocqua. Walk or bike for endless miles through the woods on paved trails. This beautiful home sits on 240' of prime lake frontage with gently sloping access to the pristine water. The lake is ideal for swimming with it's gently sloping sandy bottom. Island Lake is an exceptional playground for all water activities. This 3500 square foot home, built in 2008, is situated to offer beautiful lake views from sunrise to sunset. Relax on the large 2nd story deck. Enjoy socializing in the 900 square foot modern kitchen great room combination with gas fireplace, large screen television, 20 ' high wood beamed ceilings and floor to ceiling windows. Kitchen is a chef's dream with high end modern appliances including a double oven, gas cook-top, expansive granite counter seating with 7 bar stools. Additionally, the dining room table seats 8-10. The master suite has a walk-in closet and high end master bath featuring a large soaking tub and separate shower. There is a half bath on main level with an additional full bath with shower on the lower level. There are three large lower level bedrooms; two with lake views.The lower level features a wet bar; sauna and common area with a treadmill and stationary bike. The home has a 2 car attached garage.

Beautiful property!

We had an absolutely wonderful vacation. The home is beautiful and was very clean with all the amenities needed. The property and the area were just amazing and we saw a lot of wildlife during our stay. Barb is an amazing host and her communication with us was perfect. Fabulous house on a quiet part of the Manitowish Chain

You can’t ask for more.. a beautiful home on Island Lake. Eagles as well as deer joined us as we enjoyed our 2nd stay in paradise. The kitchen and family room were very spacious and well stocked. Barb anticipated our every need and we feel very lucky that she shared her home with us. Thank you again!

Beautiful house on Island Lake

Barb, Thank you for allowing us to rent your beautiful home. I have been eyeing your house for over two years and it was better than I could have hoped. Island Lake is the best lake on the chain. In addition, your location on the north side of the lake was ideal. The welcome basket and little touches around the house were noticed and enjoyed. The organization and cleanliness of the home were very impressive. Again, Many thanks!

Stunning home!

Barb’s care for her home is evident throughout. The house was immaculate, and it had everything we needed and more. The lake is beautiful. It was the perfect break after a few long months. She was so easy to communicate with - responding almost immediately to questions. Pride of ownership is obvious here. We would return in a heartbeat.

Great house on a beautiful lake. Comes well equipped for cooking, and has a perfect great room for gathering your group together while also having enough space for the whole family. Bike trails nearby. Excellent communication from the host.

Beautiful home and property

This was a beautiful home, every detail to covered..Barb did an amazing job welcoming us, down to a goodies basket upon arrival..A bottle of Moscato, and a touletry basket in each of the bathrooms.. We did alot of cooking and the kitchen was well equipped...Plenty of chairs for eatong and fire pit...My husband was very happy with the doc for his boat..Location was great being at the end of Island Lake, it did not get much boat traffic, so it kept pretty secure in its place..A sandy bottom at the pier for floating or swimming.. I cannot think of anything negative...Would certainly go back in a heartbeat...Thank you for renting your home for us to experience the beauty and tranquility of Manatawish Waters...
