The one separate bedroom with a very comfortable queen bed with shades and curtains if you want to sleep-in or take a well deserved nap. The living room has an comfortable couch with a queen sleeper. A bar creates the perfect gathering place for family dinners or playing board games. All of your linens and towels are new and our housekeeping service washes every piece of linen, including the comforters on the bed, so you are assured of a clean and pleasant stay. It's hard to stay closer to the beach with the water and stunning beach pool (1 of 6) only steps away. In case it rains or in cooler seasons, our unit in Plantation East allows you access to our fabulous indoor pool and sauna. Guests staying at other Gulf Shores Plantation phases (Plantation dunes, Plantation Palms, Plantation West and the Beach Cottages) on the property are no longer allowed access to our indoor pool, ensuring our Plantation East guests enjoy an un-crowded swimming experience. In the living room is a new 50 inch flat screen television and in the master bedroom is a new 26 inch flat screen TV. We've included everything imaginable to make your stay more fun. Cable and smart TV's in the living room is available so you can enjoy your favorite music or videos as you relax and let the stress melt away. You can also use the blue tooth sound bar to play music from your Bluetooth enabled devices, just remember to be mindful of your neighbors. We have high speed internet in the unit so you can stream or play games on-line. If you want crowded beaches, heavy traffic and non-stop noise you're looking at the wrong location. We are a family resort with a secure 24/7 gated entrance and quiet time beginning at 10:00 PM. Just a short 15 minute drive out the peninsula transports you worlds away to a true resort experience. Sandwiched between thousands of acres of National Wildlife refuge with hiking trails and empty or low density beaches, you'll feel like you're in old Key West.
We have shuffleboard, tennis, horseshoes, and one of the 70 best resort golf courses in The Unites States right next door. Kiva Dunes is a world class golf club open to the public with a driving range and practice facility, and the rates are surprisingly low! Enjoy a cocktail or coffee on the beach at Connections or walk next door to Kiva for lunch in the club house or tiki bar overlooking the 18th green. We have outdoor grills located throughout the property near each entrance and we offer a laundry on each floor in case you want to wash some clothes before returning home. Our island was discovered by the Spanish in 1500 and much of their fleet was destroyed in a hurricane in 1504 just behind our property. Because we are on a narrow peninsula separating the Gulf of Mexico from Bon Secour Bay, you can enjoy both the beach or bay when you stay with us. We have a boat launch across from our property and you are welcome to park your boat and trailer here at our resort. Just a few miles west you'll find historic Fort Morgan and museum, our ferry to Dauphin Island, a state park and marina. You can buy an ice cream cone, fill up with gas, get a massage or have dinner at sports bar within 1 mile of the resort.
