Amazing Oceanfront w/Gorgeous Views~ North Bend by the Sea

One of Folly's Best! North Bend By the Sea is named for the hometown of the owners who love to have their family at the beach. They invite you to share their home away from home. This large 5 bedroom 3.5 bath home has plenty of comfortable space to stretch out and relax. It is the perfect place to make family memories! When you walk into the house you see stainless steel appliances and a large kitchen table. Off the living room is one bedroom with two single beds connected by a Jack and Jill bathroom to a second downstairs bedroom with a queen bed and an ocean front view. The very large open family room has a Smart TV and a DVD player and plenty of comfy seating and beautiful ocean views. There is a half bath off the family room and two sets of doors that lead out of the house onto the back deck. One of the doors leads to the large screened porch and one to the huge sundeck both are ocean front. Upstairs you will find a daybed and 3 more bedrooms and 2 full baths. There is also a nice open balcony which is great for sitting and watching the waves. With private beach access, an outdoor shower, and plenty of decks this really is the perfect spot for a large family gathering! North Bend By The Sea allows up to 3 well-behaved, house-broken, flea-treated dogs with approval. Please include the breed and size of your dogs when you inquire. Family beach vacation

House was great for wide range of ages. Only real problem we had was the lighting - it was pretty dim after dark.

The location was perfect! The house was clean. There was a bit of confusion on the layout of the bedrooms. Our only real complaint was we kept running out of hot water which was very frustrating. We kept trying to stagger showers and laundry but inevitably a few of us were always getting cold showers.

On the beach oasis

Peaceful was just what we needed

Awesome location. Woke up to the view of the ocean every morning..coffee on the deck..gorgeous sunrises and right on the beach. Very pleasant and quiet part of the community.

Wonderful!

If I had any complaints it would be about the weather (chilly!), otherwise our week at this home was perfect. There were plenty of towels, dishes, cook wear, seating areas, and we LOVED the huge front porch, especially for our pup! Three bedrooms with beach view was a huge perk. Washer and dryer worked great. We will totally stay here again if the occasion arises.

Lovely Home Away From Home

Even though the weather was less than desirable for a beach vacation, we had a great stay at North Bend by the Sea. The property was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate 6 adults and 3 pups, being inside more than we’d wished. We would certainly be interested in a return trip!

The house had plenty of space, was clean and very nice location on beach. It would help if the driveway was paved so we were not constantly sweeping up sand. The house needs better lighting, very dark.

Much needed getaway

This is our first time booking the property. I have five children ages 19,18,14,10 and 7. We also had my parents meet us for vacation. We brought along our two dogs that are more like family. I can not begin to tell anyone looking at this property how amazing it is for any and everyone. I have absolutely NO complaints. Every single detail was ahhhhhmazing!! This property is a gem!! Don’t sleep on it, it is worth every penny!

Mixed feelings

The property was clean and well maintained. It would have been nice to have a more detailed description of the layout, or plan, of the house; one description listed 4 bedrooms, instead of 5, as well as a "daybed" on the 2nd floor. Access to the beach was very problematic, with the large boulders and debris that we had to climb over to get down to the sand. We had two people fall over the rocks during our stay, fortunately without serious injury. Internet connection was intermittent and didn't work much at all in the evenings. The rental charges plus "additional" fees and taxes were too high, and would have ordinarily been prohibitive for us at another time.

Great house & location, poor management company

We had a great stay at the house, it was bigger than pictured, clean, the location was amazing. It was missing beach chairs, you would think a house on the ocean would provide those, but besides that our stay was wonderful. We did have a very poor experience with the rental management company upon check in. The house was completely vacant before our arrival, no one checked out that day, the cleaning was done... and yet they said we could not check in early unless we paid a $114 fee, and if we paid the fee we can check in 2 hours early. We have several properties ourselves on VRBO for 10+ years and are frequent travelers... and NEVER have I heard of an early check in fee, let alone one as steep as $114. Especially since the house was just sitting there unoccupied & clean. We have always allowed guests to check in early as a kind thing to do... not to try & gouge them for more money. Even hotels allow early check in if the room is ready. We had hundreds of dollars of catering food leftover from our sons wedding the night before and they wouldn't even allow us to throw it in the fridge so it didn't spoil. So much for southern hospitality! I would recommend they find a new rental management company that cares about their guests and isn't trying to make a extra buck any way possible.

Wonderful!

We spent five days together in this wonderful beachfront home and had an amazing stay. The trip was for my mothers 94th Birthday. The group included her children and grandchildren. The layout worked well for our group and the outside porches were wonderful. The weather was perfect, sunny and in the high 70’s everyday and we felt like we had a private beach.

Great House on the Front Beach

This house was great choice for a gathering of our extended family. It was a beautiful site on the front beach and had wonderful outdoor areas with porches and decks. But the coffee maker is not working properly and needs some attention or replacement. Thanks so much!

Great Time in Folly Beach

Wonderful stay in Folley Beach while in town for the Cooper River Bridge Run. Place was very clean and well kept. Plenty of space... even with 6 kids! Host was awesome and very responsive. My favorite part... you cannot beat the view from the back deck. Perfect spot to watch the sunrise or sunset over the beach with a coffee. Looking forward to returning back to this property soon!
