Summary:
Tucked among the trees, "The Angler" is a true log cabin built in the spirit of early Appalachian homesteads—simple, rustic, and full of character.
This is not a large or luxury cabin. Instead, it offers a more authentic experience—cozy spaces, handcrafted details, and the kind of charm that comes from stepping back to a simpler time. The cabin comfortably sleeps 6–8 guests, making it a great fit for families, fishing trips, or easygoing groups who value experience over excess.
The Space:
Inside, you’ll find warm wood tones, a lived-in feel, and the essentials you need to unwind after a day outdoors. It’s the kind of place where boots stay by the door, stories get told a little longer, and no one’s in a hurry.
Step outside and you’re surrounded by 8.5 wooded acres, with room to roam, relax, and enjoy the quiet of the mountains. While The Angler offers its own sense of privacy, it’s part of a small, tucked-away cabin village, giving you access to shared fire pits, open gathering spaces, and a laid-back, communal feel—without losing your own space.
Whether you’re heading out to the nearby Ocoee River, exploring local trails, or simply enjoying a slow evening by the fire, this is a place to unplug and settle in.
